Airdrops need to drop gear/items that can actually make a difference…
Most people are just farming them for the achivements but I think it’s a bit ridiculous in an area that requires fairly decent ilvl gear (nazjatar) to be dropping ilvl360 pvp gear.
Why shouldn’t the loot crate contain nice gear? Instead of relying on a completely predefined conquest cap reward that removes any element of choice or personal gear goals. To have the chance of a high level pvp piece or a interesting tmog would make it so much better.
wPvP lack incentives, and to just sell rubbish 360 gear for gold or to scrap it for mats that are probably not very useful anymore feels a bit dissatisfying.
I don’t want loot crates to be “easily looted”… that’s quite often why they are easily lootable; because no one cares for them unless they are going for an achievement.
They could give:
Rep (Large amount - not 50 rep like the kill 3 rare spawns does)
Transmogs
PvP Gear
Nazjatar currency
The problem is that it would be too easy to get, and impact the traditional methods of gearing. WM is not intended to compete with rated, mythic+, etc.
Maybe if the crate had a % chance to drop aoo ilvl gear once per week, in addition to the lower scrapper gear once per day. Would be nice.
