My Alchemy Experimentation is not on cooldown (no need for potions of courage etc) but I can no longer do Phial or Potion Experimentation despite having all the mats and standing at the workbench. The animation starts and then immediately stops but no message is given as to why. I’ve disabled all addons, restarted, waited 12 hours and it’s still the same. Any ideas ?

This issue has recently been addressed by our developers:
This is great but does not explain what’s being fixed, why it’s broken or why hours later it’s still not working… just that it’s been disabled.
after an experiment failed you got the CD and had to wait 4 hours before you could experiment again (or just use the item to reset it).
that was bugged tho and simple relogging removed that cd so you could just experiment on and on even if you failed.
thats why it got disabled.
the biggest problem to me is simply by looking trough posts about this bug you can see whats the situation right now: people who didn’t abuse the bug can’t get new recipes and thusfore are stuck and can’t even really make gold whilste the people who abused the bug now can make all the gold they want because they already got all the recipes and at the same time the market wont really get that much more supply because no other players can experiment to get the recipes.
