Alchemy research didnt give me a new recipe. I made the research, i got the cooldown, and i didnt get anything new learned.
I dont know all the stuff, for example i only know a single one of the different Transmute Eternal Life to Shadow for example, not the rest of the elements.
Shouldnt I be able to get them all if i keep researching?
Transmutes are not something you can learn from the research.
According to the guide on wowhead, the gem transmute are trained at trainers and the transmute for elements are learned with the research.
Is this guide incorrect and if that is the case, how do i learn how to transmute the other elements?
From what I can find " All transmutations of Eternal ingredients are learned as discoveries
while performing any other Grandmaster-level transmute (titanium, eternals, or gems).
All have a minimum skill of 400, and transmute one item of the one type,
to one (possibly more with Transmutation Master item of the other."
Thats from wowiki though so its all really old info but most likely more true seeing as it was written back in the day actually. If you look up what the research can teach you on wowhead you will find the list of what you can learn from it
Oh, so I should transmute other things and if im lucky ill learn the new stuff?
