Hello!

After not playing for a few years but remembering that alchemy/transmuting is good for passive income via 1 day of CD/transmuting, I chose this specialization.
In guides it was recommended to make “Blasphemite” for JC, after I have now invested about 25 knowledge points I had to realize that Blasphemite can already be bought for 200 G in the AH?

Did I make a mistake choosing Thaumaturgy?

No you didn’t make a mistake, but thaumaturgy requires a lot of investment than just 25 points to be profitable.

You can basically buy a cheap material (for example leather) and convert it a more expensive one (for example bismuth or some herb). With some conditions met, you can do that at a higher rank too (convert rank 1 to rank 2 or rank 2 to rank 3).
