All healers except Shaman undesired in m+

So resto Shaman is still at the top?

Actually, the arguments are regarding Shamans overall, not Resto Shamans in particular. Clearly Resto Shaman doesn’t offer a whole lot in favor of Disc Priests or Resto Druids.

Shamans have a great toolkit for the current dungeons, no doubt. But that doesn’t make Resto Shamans OP in any shape or form. And this seems to be the argument that fueled this whole discussion to the point we’re at now.

It went from “see, there are shamans in all the top keys” to “yeah…I know Resto Shamans are not being taken anymore, but they’re still the best healer for M+”.

Their arguments became void but their opinion didn’t change. That is a sign.

When it is overpowered i wonder why the ‘whole’ page is white. :joy:

All healers are overpowered? Some just more than others?

so now for all the Restoration shaman complainers, are u also going to complain about disc priest that CLEARLY DOMINATES High Keys.

Yeah, strangely i dont see the “All healers except Priest undesired in m+” threads.

Also nerf shamans!

Might have something to do with the fact that at m+ level 12 and up there are roughly 60% Resto Shamans and only roughly 20% Disc Priests.

It’s difficult to start a topic called “All healers expect Priest undesired in m+” when another healing class is 3 times as desired across all relevant content. You blue guys don’t need to worry. You will remain meta for the entire season 1 and possibly beyond. Even after your nerfs you are still by far the most popular. Blizzard doesn’t seem to have a desire to destroy your spec at the moment. Let’s just hope they buff the other healers soon before they start quitting the game, which would lead to even longer waiting times in m+.

They’re not going to do that.

I’m abandoning this season due to the state of holy priest, the problems were visible in the beta and they did nothing to address it and here we are, several months after launch and they’ve done no attempt to fix it.

If there’s no changes in 11.1 I’m just bailing on the whole expansion. No changes in 11.2 and I won’t even buy next expansion.

Honestly, only Holy Priest and Holy Paladin really need some attention?

Tell that to the 6.0% Mistweaver Monks, 3.9% Restoration Druids and especially the 2.1% Preservation Evokers at m+ level 12 and up. They might disagree.

I honestly don’t care about how many of the top 100 players use certain specs, which drips down to the bottom ranks. We can’t let the balance depend on that… It’s all about viability.

What matters at that range is not something a buff is going to solve.

This dungeon favor shaman in unorganized group and disc in better organized ones espe with PP tanking.Nothing to do with those other spec lacking love.

Besided holy priest.

Mistewavers crank. I had one do 900k dps on a run I did. I’ve never seen anything close to that from other healers.

Of course buffs would solve it. They would just need to be correct buffs and thoughtful improvements. I wouldn’t hold my breath for Blizzard to accomplish that though. All healers except Resto Shaman and Disc Priest need some serious attention right now.

For 20 years it has always been the best choice to simply re-roll to an S-Tier or at least A-Tier spec and stick with that until it inevitably gets nerfed into the ground. If you do that, you will at least be powerful for a while, sometimes for the duration of an entire expansion. If you choose to stick with a C-Tier spec for whatever reason, be prepared for an entire expansion of weakness and disappointment.

I feel like shaman has always excelled in pug group m+. Even when they were the worst healer in m+
You can save so many poor players with your toolkit.
