All of the PvP streamers are streaming PvE now

it’s not how arena plays and what i wrote is not how raiding plays. do you have any experience with either?

I am not arguing PVP games are 100% balanced - I realise that’s not the case. What I’m saying is that I’d like the development used on balancing pvp in wow to be used for developing PVE, because when you try to balance both you end up screwing both in the process. That’s why I like games to have a clear vision of what kind of game it is. Instead, WoW is trying to cater to both PVE and PVE, and ends up not pleasing anyone in the process.
We had many systems for pvp in the game before, and I consider every single one of them misplacement of developer resources.
Keep PVP in PVP games. Keep PVE in PVE games. Many games tried to do both, all of them failed. Let’s learn from mistakes.

Dude Just quit this game and play something that is pvp oriented… For Honor.

I do mythic content on wow and I ws rank9 on DaoC.
That was a proper pvp game, I suggest you to give it try.

i do higher mythic content and i was rank1 on DaoC so i know better

wow pve and pvp can coexist just fine - they have done so in the past and can do so again without one side feeling force to do the other (and that can go either way)

But it wasn’t in the past. PvE and PvP were never in a state where they lacked balancing or content because of each other, and they certainly never overlapped besides in vanilla.
I agree, let’s learn from the past and make both contents work.

so you do not have any pvp experience. that explains your beliefs on how it plays.

while i agree with the sentiment about pvp gearing, it’s just untrue that they haven’t overlapped previously. it has been the case in just about expansion barring WoD and legion, and you can maybe get away with MoP as well since the impact was minor in that one.

Since when getting to Guardian has become something noteworthy?

I played a real pvp game, while you instead thinks that passing through the enemy while jumping = skill :joy:

. PvE and PvP were never in a state where they lacked balancing or content because of each other

From my point of view, that has been the case the whole history of WOW (post classic). whenever they tried to balance pve, they always influence pvp, and don’t address it vast majority of the time. They were doing class changes the whole expansion and never did pvp talent changes to offset any of them. They just release pve changes and hope it doesn’t break pvp. If it breaks it too much they might do something about it, but PVE balancing has ALWAYS been damaging PVP balance.

you can continue to describe what pvp works like all you like. it’s very clear that you don’t have a clue, but by all means carry on.

As I said play a real pvp then you will understand that pvp in wow is equal to pet battles as skill requirement.

it’s funny how content that requires 1 brain cell is considered the “main” thing in this game

Dark age of Camelot, considered even today the best pvp mmorpg of all time.
