I found this artist who has done racial armor for every class and practically nailed every single one. His art style is not super advanced, but offers a very-very good idea of what I love to see from Blizzard.

A lot of them are genuinely brilliant. I am totally willing to see race based class armor that is only available for your own class/race combo. It would create actual class distinction, give each race a strong theme and offer a strong base of fantasy.
Not to mention making racial capitals look waaaay cooler. What do you think?
Idea is nice, but the sets are hit and miss for me. Some are trully well designed, and some are meh at best.
For example all belf sets looks wayy too alike, there is barely any true difference in how they look.
I’m not personally fan of troll sets, maybe 2 of them are kinda ok, but overall I am not really sold on them and I think much more could’ve been done.
But I really liked Tauren and gnome ones. Dark Irons were also very good. And really loved majority of pandaren ones.
Overall lots of propositions were very good. And I could see some being transferred to WoW, like dwarf paladin set.
Well they are good . But are not something wich I would wish to have for any of my characters. Maybe only for Blood Elf mage … Because the set it’s copy/ paste from Kael .
Some are good, others bad, but one constant is that the DK sets are very good. Artist has their priorities straight.
Worgen warrior naturally gets a thumbs up from me, just enough mixture between knight and power range for me to love it.
KT Druid however… It’s just a KT Human cosplaying as a KT boomie.
As for the KT warrior, Assassins Creed Brotherhood flashbacks for those elite guards.
Nelf and Undead felt very boring and unimaginative. While Human felt more like something out of Warhammer (or something similar).
DI Hunter/Shaman, I want that mog so badly. Fire face and corehound head shoulders? Sign me up.
I like the Tauren ones. Lots of imagination and creativity there.
Would like to his/her take on Highmountain
I also liked how they gave each race its own distinct cultural mark. One can hope it inspires the Blizzard art team, although I’ve never had much negativity towards them.
I think the artist tried to encapsulate the core fantasy of what each race+class expression would be. A Blood Elf Mage core fantasy for a lot of people is the “Blood Mage” - which Kael is the main example off.
I personally love the Blood Elf and Night Elf set’s the best because they give you the option to act out the primary archetype of that class-race combo.
Going for a stereotypical option may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but you’ll have the option. Not to mention getting some amazing transmog pieces to combine your own custom look from them.
