I had a small ~60mb update today in battle net. Immediately afterwards I am entirely unable to log in to any server since they all say “Incompatible.”
I assume my game updated to season 4, but that is not out until tomorrow. I was really wanting to get one more m+ in for my next week’s weekly vault reward
Does anyone know how to possibly revert into a previous patch or something?
Try doing a scan and repair.
Either you scan and repair or like in my case, the update caused my game to be damaged and you gotta reinstall at that point, because the repair tool is damaged also
I experienced this issue myself for a little while - it appears the game client was updated at short notice this afternoon.
Generally if a client update is required to patch the game the servers also need to be updated to match and as client update usually finishes first you see this message until the servers catch up.
Most of the time this is announced in advance as a maintenance shutdown but very occasionally they have to do it at short notice (or even no notice).
In most cases waiting a little while is all that is required, if the issue doesn’t go away and no maintenance is announced a reinstall may be needed.
