The game does feel overall better than S2 but more tweaks are needed in 2024.
Needed mechanical fixes
Increase item level to a minimum equal to [ crafted gear item level - 13 ] in max level PVP instances
Rated matches with average MMR difference greater than 200 should never, EVER pop even if it means infinite queue time for some people in off-peak hours
Primary stat bonus from trinket set bonus should not apply to temporary buffs
Restore Critical Strike value in PVP by keeping lowered magnitude but increasing crit chance
Harsher diminishing returns rules for forced movement mechanics in PVP
Less pets on Unholy, Beast Mastery, Demonology in PVP
5% primary stat battle standard in random BGs should be targetable and have 1 HP
Remove dampening, nerf healers mana regen in arena instead
If dampening is kept, make key healing spells unaffected by it for specs that rely on pure HPS (MW, Prevoker: Chi Cocoon, Revival, Rewind, Emerald Communion), this should ensure better healer parity for Solo Shuffle

Meaning one friendly sphere (Sphere of Hope) and one enemy sphere (Sphere of Despair).
Unless you are somehow talking about doing it within the same global.
Well my bad then the french translation on this one says it’s only one sphere, not one sphere of each type, and this was consistent with how the spell worked before 10.2.
I still think this talent is too strong in arenas post 10.2.

Nah, the only real way to fix PvP is to make MMR account-bound. We are playing smurfing simulator. No game has as many smurfs as wow pvp, because you gear up in a day and get a fresh char ready with 0 mmr in a heartbeat. It’s crazy. It has nothing to do with the game or balancing.
Either they make MMR accountbound, or they should make gearing extremely hard, so nobody has time to play more than 2 chars(, which would be bad in other ways)
