Not a cheeese and wine post, just a legit question, where is your honor, hoerd? Bored, soloing some 1.5 mil hp boring mob, almost done, 3 horde showing up, chainsilenced, garroted… Like, srsly, why? Ez kill is honorable? Cant wait that 1 more minute for some random alliance soloer to finish off a boring questmob? :smiley:

If you want other players to act and behave in accordance to their respective worlds and lore, you’d be best served rolling on an RP server.

I keep hearing that “back in the day” killing others a lot lower levelled than yourself would actually lose you honour.

Maybe that’s an idea to be considered being implemented again?

Well, I for example couldn’t care less about honour points. For me, would have to be gold reduction. Then gear removal. Then stockades. Alliance just need to start looking after their lowbies better. Need more def in lowbie zones!

Alive world pvp is very okay. You know what would have been totally awesome and /salute-worthy? Them helping to finish off the mob and THEN ganking me. (y)

When RPers sense blood they jumping as fast as anybody else, just with more emotes spam.

This whole honor debate is a huge misunderstanding. You see, honor is something you accord your equals. Why would the butcher honor the cow?

Recent wow lore indeed suggest horde has turned into honorless genocidal butchers. No wonder that orc guy in stockades is sad.

Nope, DK’s (Dishonorable Kills) were just for killing Quest NPCs. To stop higher level players from griefing entire quest zones by killing the NPCs. And back then it had a drastic effect on your Rank which isn’t a thing anymore so it would have a severely reduced impact today.

Oh yeah Warmode. You turn it on, you’re an enemy. Should’ve solo’d the mob faster, or got some mates :sunglasses:

Well tbh what Coolgroove said.

But if we’re talking RP - we’re at war, so I’d guess most RPers would be RPing being at war, and if they’re loyal to their Warchief, killing as many Alliance as possible :muscle:

Were you questing in one of the zones for which Call to Arms was on? Sometimes it’s difficult for horde to score 10 killed players. I guess they put aside their honour and tried to finish the quest.

BTW this is a player not faction related because this happens on both sides.

Honor ? Oh please. Honor is accepting that you’re going to be a target at any time in game yes. You see these 3 hordes ? They by now definitely got ganked by a 40-man Alliance raid.

Also when I 1v1 an Alliance player, and a Hordie mates passes by seeing our fight, he won’t interfere, he’ll watch, and act if I lose, but he won’t interfere until the 1v1 is done.
I do the same.
But if you’re in a group and ganking, you most likely have a weekly quest you’re trying to get done quick.

And I’ve seen both sides of the coin :
Seen myself get ganked over and over by Alliance and couldn’t complete my WQ.
Seen myself just going to a camp, only to get killed by Allys camping it and camping its graveyard.
Seen myself, in a Horde raid obliterating an Alliance raid and holding Arom’s stand for 2 hours, because they were at first ganking us just tryna do quest, and we managed to strike back, they fled. Then later on came to Zandalar bully some lowies.
Questioning honor in Horde when Alliance often acts tough and jerky, then they get destroyed, and seeks revenge later with the excuse of “well Horde ganked us earlier” when they ignited the fire first, mmmmh.

It’s Warmode. We have it on most of the time, even when all alone on enemy territory.

Of course, its well known and accepted that only, and i mean ONLY horde players act in this manner. They should all be banned…

I’ve been in WOW since vanilla. I’ve been ganged in my life (Stranglehorn vale, totaly nightmare, my alts at Outland and Northrend) from high level allies more often than you think. Allies have no honor as well. And one more thing, we didn’t choose to be honorless murderes when we choose the Horde.Orcs supposed to be the most Honorable race of all even if they were savage. Tauren too. Sylvanas logic was just a joke. She Had no motivation to do what she did. Blizz want a new Vilain and that’s what how it went. Blizz chose to turn us into Honorless murdering guys raiding the lands of Azeroth. Normally we should gang every Allie until you quit the game.

Agreed but there should some limitations. Lvl bracket is my thought.
Otherwise is not warmode, is mass murder of harmless citizen.

Honor, useless and gives no kills. :-1:
Ganked lowbies as ally for 10 years+, now i gank lowbies as horde.

Its more fun to gank as horde tho, allys get much more salty. :wink:
