All wow games crash before login screen
Regular Windows 10. Everything is up to date. Restarted pc, game, unintalled everything, scan and repair. Played Wotlk last night. So got the problem after SoD launched.
Basicly same issue.
Regular windows 10. Updated graphics drivers for Radeon 6700 XT. Restart, reinstalled, deleted battle.net as per all the guides online to help problems. Scanned for rapir options. Only real difference is that it’s been a while since my last play of WoW.
And now, none of my wow iterations can launch. The game crashes right as my screen goes black after launch.
I’ve tested D4 and that game starts up fine.
Same issue here. Repaired, reinstalled, changed install directory to not share files.
Win 10, Ryzen 5800X3D, Radeon 6800, all the lastet updates and drivers.
Launch it with the -d3d11 option (Settings->Game settings). it looks like they broke DX12 again.

So i am not sure this will work for everybody, but i have been having similar problems with wow and dx12, which is whenever i launch wow i get a black screen only, what i did was left the black screen hanging for around 5 minutes without doing anything to it and when i came back it was running. Tested it and it loads instantly again with dx12. Hopefuly this will help amd users having trouble with dx12 and wow
