I love the little things like this in WoW, and minor things like this is the primary reason I fell in love with the game back in 2005.
Using the Rocket boots xtreme, alliance players can pretty much jump straight to GM from the gate. Jumping from horde side you can’t do that, and as a Horde player I’m totally ok with it because little things like this add flavor to the game.
But let’s be real here, if the Horde had this advantage instead, the Alliance would go crazy on the forums about this.
Funny enough the optimal bases to control on ab are blacksmith,lumber mill and farm due to the distance between them and how fast you can reinforce and the fact lumber you can slowfall straight to blacksmith from lumber.
GM is a noob trap and horde have a slight advantage but it’s so small it’s not worth complaining about.

You seem to have a problem focusing while reading. First of all, I replied to the player who commented after you. Second, I didn’t even want to reply to you because you misunderstood the first post. The advantage is for the Alliance
No the advantage is for the horde due to the fact farm is closer by about 4-5 seconds to blacksmith and lumber it’s the 3 closest bases on the map and the best 3 bases to hold to win.
blacksmiths graveyard is also on farm side so it’s easier to reinforce farm from blacksmith than stables.
Lumber mill is better to have than GM due to slowfall to blacksmith and good vision.
Nobody complains about this because it’s not enough time to cap before the first clash anyone thinks having GM is a map advantage is a noob I’m sorry and would you like to provide some proof that Xtreme boots can make you reach gm from the base it’s highly doubtful and is it enough time to cap before the first clash which is also extremely doubtful
So he didn’t make it all the way it saved him 5 seconds due to the mage getting there as he capped I’m absolutely sure if horde used rocketboots they could contest that point.
He lost alot time due to having to having mount up before traveling the rest of the way

Been lurking the forums and posting occasionally since the beginning of Classic, in my eyes it’s pretty much 50/50. You know why? Because we are all players of the same game.

I am not sure how it is with this, but generaly ab is considered little bit horde favored because farm lm bs are best bases to hold at the same time, they arrive to bs sooner and farm is easier to hold than st, but again it isnt gamechanging advantage
I know exactly which side im on. The side who thinks that game design and the health of the game is more important than any players selfish thoughts and opinions or profit for the developers.

You’re crying that alliance has an advantage to take GM, which is a shait base to hold.
Meanwhile horde has an advantage on bases that are more important for a victory.
