5 losses in a row, wtf is going on with alliance? I was just in Wintergrasp and nobody even built vehicles. Maybe it’s time to get rid of the faction split in BGs, the imbalance is too big. Or let alliance queue as mercenary too.

Only 5? On my rather fresh 60 on which I’ve been spamming epic BGs, my winrate for Wintergrasp is 8% (23 games, 2 wins) 
It’s a combination of not knowing how the BG works (not building vehicles), Horde generally being better geared (and skilled) and Horde mercenaries using Alliance queues for faster honor.
Cross faction BG is coming in 9.2.5 I believe.

I think that’s only for rated?
I read something about ‘preserving’ unrated for Horde specific faction queues. (unless they’re removing Merc mode, in which case Alliance would be faction specific in unrated too)

Yes, it’s horrible. It felt so good transfering to the Horde and actually winning Epic Battlegrounds. As Alliance it was extremely demoralising to lose several Epic Battlegrounds in a row, even though the honor gain offset it.

Wintergrasp is the only bg I would really appreciate to be able to queue as mercenary on alliance, things are really bad there.
for example, my winrate stays at 30% there with 34 victories out of 110 games. Ridiculous

Alliance cant win BGs in general. I have seen this and its one of the reasona I went Horde even though I hate all Horde races. Ally players give up so easy literally 5 seconds after the first fight they just lose mentally also its tiring asking people to follow strats lr do basic stuff… its seems most of those who stayed ally are simply not interested in winning and they just play casually. Very sad.

I’d imagine it’s a small cross sample, ive done plenty of horde games and lost to alliance especially ashran (thats withoutbthe premade group), I’ve still found time/day to have a larger effect on the rates.

The new patch came out today, everyone was doing new tasks and in the first battle in wintergraps we were only 6 people from the premade. At the beginning of the battle we were 30 vs 40 horde, but we still won! Time 00:52:00 last stream https://www.twitch.tv/larkuspvp
