Thanks for the laugh m8, that truly makes having to get upp at 05:00 for work allot better.

But yeh, its a 12+ game so you kinda need to enjoy all the stereotype «supervillan/superhero chat».

I really think they ought to do better than the Jailer, though. He really has just been pulled out of a hat. No back story. No discernible personality. Look at Arthas, Illidan, Sylvanas, Garrosh. At least these people had / have some sort of identity.

i would be content with our faction leaders acting like statesmen carrying the burden of their nations on their shoulders.

You know, like
 kings, queens, generals and politicians. Not like a bunch of personal friends on a funny weekend trip. When did Taelia, a former simple city guard from Boralus, become friends with world leaders anyways? Is that how it works? Spend maybe 3 months with them, talk about your father and BAM! BFF with the most important people on the planet?

Archimonde was cliche, KJ was cliche, DW was cliche, Old Gods are cliche. So is Sauron. The list goes on.

If you think about it, a lot of villains are cliche not just in WoW, but in every media. The best villain I can think of is actually Solas (Dragon Age) or Garrosh in the WoW universe.

Hell, even Gwyn in Dark Souls is a better villain than most other media and he is not uttering a single word in the game.

I’m just more tired of the dialogue that calls us “PATHETIC MORTALS”. This is what actually makes them sound like a cliche. Many of the villains have different motives and wouldn’t be called cliche if the dialogue wasnt.

The Jailer isn’t only generic in terms of speech but he also look so generic and boring as well. Damn, I’d rather they’d made him look like unholy Hades like they portrayed him as at Blizzcon
