If you think about it, a lot of villains are cliche not just in WoW, but in every media. The best villain I can think of is actually Solas (Dragon Age) or Garrosh in the WoW universe.

I like villains that arent just evil guys, Thanos is good example of villain i like…well he could be more funny but he is not jusr evil guy. Another type of villains i like are ones with funny quotes like in borderlands …this handsome jack was so funny .

Target audience is 13 year olds and from what I remember they started cracking down on any slurs or swear words against Sylvanas, writer bias alot of swear words are still in the game but if its anything Sylvanas related then its a big no-no, gonna insult one of the lead writer’s waifus otherwise
