Hey, i’m looking for a realm that’s most likely alliance based and friendly and not full/highly populated. (Outland and Silvermoon for example)
So! Any recommendations?
That’s a tough one atm either they are full and busy or empty and quiet .
Might be worth looking at realmpop and wowprogress for numbers.
Only one i can remember is Magtheriodon
How about your realm? I’ve noticed Tura/Doomhammer is “New Players” atm and how is the community etc. ? And i know Realmpop i check it a lot, i just want someone’s else opinion about realm. I’m like that type of guy who always chose realm because of it’s name so i look “cool-ish”, haha.
So mostly ally based but not full, nor even high? I’d have thought about stuff like sylvanas or ravencrest, they’re not supposed to be full but by all means will classify as high, if you want to go down further on population you have my realm for example, quel’thalas is like 2\3 alliance, average pop, which however means you won’t find many people.
So that’s the choice, you want a healthy population? Go on an high pop, you also get the option to have 90% of the realm’s population on your side if you pick right realm, or you want a lower pop? Then you take the risk to have even ally dominant side too low and you will have something like 70% ally realm population at best.

As Megapixel said.I would go with higher pop realms.Also as he said Ravencrest or Sylvanas are good realms.I use Reven for my Ally side and never regreted my choice.

Silvermoon yes and if you want only for PvP and believe me even though warmode exists now you will still find edgelord alliance pvpers mostly on Outland realm I mean if PvP is his only interest talking from experience on that realm.
I play on Argent Dawn - it’s “full”, but I’ve never had to queue.
Join Silvermoon and stop worrying. You won’t see many players on your realm anyway, but at least you’ll have a lot of guilds you can join.

if you want friendliness, avoid silvermoon and ravencrest like the plague. Shadowsong and magtheridon, ive yet to come across unpleasant players.

Tbh. Unless you are playing higher end-game raiding or rated pvp(bigger choice of guilds to choose from). Dont be afraid from high/full pop realms. I play on Silvermoon and I see people in the world from other realms more often than my own realm…
Argent Dawn is a very nice realm if you like the RP atmosphere, the world feels more alive compared to regular realms.
Ravencrest is pretty nice as well, with healthy AH etc.
There’s a bit of a lack of social guilds though, but we could always change that 
Ravencrest is nice. I recently started playing there. I could only see the ‘full’ population becoming an issue with a huge patch release or new expansion. Even then, it’s probably not too bad.
All of you saying RC/AD and others missed that he doesn’t want that to happen .
This server would be your best option OP .
Ever since I started playing seriously, I moved from Archimonde fr to : Stormscale Horde and outland Ally.
Outland used to be the go to ally server but changed during mop I believe ? Cause of the queues, the top players all moved to ravencrest, and the sheep followed
