Bigger bonus - great, now it’ll at least be good. Nothing changes for me, WM is still On and will be ON.
But I don’t think it solves the problem at all, unfortunately. Looks like Devs are trying to solve another problem with “numbers tunning”, when it’s quite clear it’s not a solution and PvE % is not enough.
Players who don’t like WPvP and feel preasured now with 10% will only feel more preasured with 30. On top of that, it could also create unnecesary annoyance for these players - like a lot of ppl turn WM on, it became 10% and they turn it off, it becomes 30% because of it, they need to turn it on again. These players are in WM only for % and not for WPvP and Warmode doesn’t provide anything else meaningful for these players. Giving PvE bonus for PvP activity, and no progression in that activity - not good.
- Raids/M+ - fun for players, progression through content/difficulty, character progression
- Arena/BG - fun for players, progression through ladder/difficulty, character progression
- WPvP - fun for players, a bit of rep/azerite, and nothing else
In Legion, because of templates, PvP character progression only technically was there, and it didn’t work…
Players need more meaningful and motivating system to invest time and put effort in activity.
PvE players don’t care that PvP players can progress with PvP, and vice versa, there is no problems here. Preasuring players into activity - it’s bad. Giving activity something specific and ability to progress - that’s where the fun is, just like Raids/M+/Arenas.
- Add PvP vendor for Conquest. Just like M+ vendor, but with all range of items, not just Azerite.
- Award Conquest for more WPvP activities
- Remove limit of looting Conquest once per day from Bounties/Airdrops. Make it similar to random BGs, big amount for first and small for next.
- Add tower/locations to cap
