Alliance is indeed dead

I mainly play with my friends on Kazzak Horde and we decided to make an Alliance toon each and reach max level just in case we ever feel like switching sides, also the warfront Alliance plate is too damn good looking. We made them on Ravencrest which is considered one of the best Ally servers and the trade chat, Stormwind population and generally seeing people questing population, is much, much less than on Kazzak, to the point where i am wondering if people do M+ and HC Raiding as consistently. I mean it’s already hard to find Tanks on Horde, how is it on Alliance?

have you checked the Kazzak’s population?

Horde: 35209

Alliance: 274

Yup alliance is dead that’s what happens when all devs play horde and highly recommend their players NOT to play alliance.

I’ve been playing as a healer on Ravencrest and generally found groups for whatever I wanted to do quite fast. Probably just as fast as on a large horde realm.

theres 4 or more times as many groups doing any content on the horde side , and if you plan to play at night past like 23:00 forget about alliance side , its a ghost town

Alliance are dead because Horde killed them

The demo treatment: “we rather you not play alliance right now”.

You are both playing on Stormscale, a strongly Horde dominated realm. As for cross-realm group-finder activities, there’s a lot on both sides and I can’t imagine that you have difficulties finding a group on either.

If you want to play Alliance, better not play on Stormscale. That doesn’t mean there are no Alliance players in WoW in general.

True, if I wanted to play alliance I wouldn’t pick Stormscale

But it always happens sooner or later when a faction overwhelms the other that players starts to transfer away. It’s not strange when there is no benefits

You share queue with people that are in heavily advantage, there is no extra bonuses what so ever that should have been given instead of alliance or horde weeks

If I wanted to play gnome on Stormscale I would expect a lot of juicy rewards otherwise why would I bother getting ganked for nothing

But blizzard will probably never do this to balance servers

I used to play on Mal’Ganis. A German realm.

Before and during the first half of MoP, Mal’Ganis had a nearly 1:1 Horde/Alliance ratio. Also, it was a PVP server. Mal’Ganis was one of the most fun WoW realms before this whole cross-realm / shards etc happened.

  • It was rather small
  • It was balanced
  • It was PVP

I loved it. One of the nicest WoW experiences ever. You exactly knew your enemies and you knew exactly who you are going to beat and who’s going to be hard. You also knew who’s guild is going to run for help and when you’re going to start a huge massacre by ganking members of the wrong guilds. It was a permanent non-escapable warmode but in a small circle where you knew everyone so it was very predictable.

MoP was amazing. The timeless isle felt like fighting on multiple fronts. Tagging world-bosses was super fun and that nervous feeling when you found a rare and some well-known enemy landed next to you and you had to plan your resources to not lose the rare and kill your enemy first.

Loved it. Warmode feels similar, but everyone around you is just anonymous. It’s not the same feeling. Not that I don’t enjoy it.

Long story short = Balanced PVP servers used to be super fun but also super rare. It’s a shame they’re gone completely but it seems like a small amount of the WoW population actually wanted this, so it doesn’t matter too much that they’re gone.

i was talking about cross realm group finder , just log in any alliance realm and look up the group finder then do the same on the horde side , theres 10 times more action any given time

It’s gone because many people wants to be on the winning side and are only in there for the rewards without having to worry of getting killed

But if you removed the rewards from them when they are sissies maybe they would think twice before they want free rewards without effort

We did it Bois.

How d hell always the most sensitive players have problems?
Literally lvled like 4 characters in last 7 days, saw ppl in every zone, had no problems with dungeon finder as tank, heal or even dps role and same goes for BGS. If Alliance is really dead well for sure its not dead on Silvermoon

Yeah this is what i have noticed. It’s not that Alliance doesn’t have players, it’s that coming from playing Horde it feels like there are less than half as far as custom groups and trade spamming goes.

Despite playing on Azjol-Nerub/Quel-Thas , and it shows on realmpop that alliance is dominant, horde tends to win majority of BG and oblitirate WQ and wPvP areas.

Just yesterday t attacked by a gnome fire mage, and to my surprise, despite bein FB talented for PvE I killed him. That was gorgeous.
Just felt like sharing

and the horde will die in 8.3  welcome to the alliance my red brothers and sisters

Good job scaring the Alliance in to the Horde, now you have no pve or pvp content. GG my man.

Yup my exact same experience. Even goes as far back as groups for legacy raids in Legion. I gave up on that, there were friday nights I neither could fill a 20 man groups (not by far) or find any for transmog run NH or ToS. Meanwhile on my Horde alt… One night I had a mythic ToS group open and in 15 minutes, 2 applied! WOOHOO! Go Alliance? This incident was the last straw and made me simply quit also doing Legion transmog raids. No I didn’t set it to 120 only, it was 111+, to weed out twinks.

That’s because blizzard has indoctrinated us into playing horde instead of alliance because they have a bias towards horde.
This wisdom is brought to you by retribu-tor or tion I honestly don’t know he is crazy.

Horde is cooler that’s all there is to it.
