Alliance Nightborne

Now that the war is over…

can we please have Alliance side Nightborne like how it was originally intended?

How the story turned out with the Nightborne joining the Horde near the end never made sense: The Night Elves had just helped them take back Suramar and recover from their mana addiction, and then the Nightborne join Sylvanes in burning down Teldrassil? There is even a Night Elf settlement in Suramar and the remains of the Moon Guard joined Thalyssra’s rebellion, as seen in the Suramar storyline.

Even if the Nightborne and Blood Elves have a lot in common the status quo makes no sense. It seemed more like the Nightborne were meant to pick their faction like Pandarens. Please change it back. The war is over anyway.

Thalyssra got salty with Tyrande and then childishly joined the Horde. After the war now… I doubt very much Tyrande would agree to this.

So even if it did not make any sense at the end of Legion it definitely makes sense now. You are stuck with your zugzug friends

Or a faction of Nightborne could call Thalyssra out for being childish and join the Alliance…

As seen with various other sub-races.

Besides if the developers can alter Thalysrra’s reaction at the end of Legion for OOC purposes–wanting to promote faction diversity but sticking elves with Orcs, again…–they can alter Tyrande’s behaviour to fix their mistake.

Nope.
Silvermoon is a better city than DarnASHus.

Errr yes because Tyrande reminded Thalyssra about the history of Highborne and asked her whether she can be trusted. She then promised to help Thalyssra. Hardly salty…

The way I see it after Thalyssra achieved what she wanted she threw a hissy fit and joined the Horde. Perspective I guess

Seems pretty clear in the recruitment scenario when Thalyssra shows it in a vision.

I know two particular Highborne Night Elf fans who will have a great problem with this video.

Yea basically Thalyssra and her bud Liadrin were both salty together for no real reason and then went and burned the god damned tree with another crazy elf. Tyrande was actually right to mistrust them all along too…

Absolutely. However, it seems incredibly out of character from the Thalyssra portrayed throughout the rest of the Suramar storyline.

If you are trying to gain allies, Tyrande is clearly not the woman for the job.

Anything to do with the recruitment of “Highborne” like races, then the Night Elves in general are not the people for the job.

I’d sooner send Alleria, to be honest.

I wouldn’t have wanted to join the Alliance either if that’s the way they treat potential allies

Tyrande takes a dump on Thalyssra’s feet every single time they interact. And it’s somehow surprising then that the Nightborne doesn’t join the alliance? Seems pretty realistic. Name me one current head of state that would go out of their way to join up with another that spit in their face every time they meet.

I doubt Thalyssra want to leave Lorthemar’theron. She wanted to bang… wanted to show the pleasure of simple life to Lorthemar.

And yea i found it weird just because Tyrande got doubt what next queen will get Suramar that Thalyssra got mad and joined the horde. Feel weird.

But to the point to join the alliance ? I don’t know. More like neutral allied race ?

If you want childish then look how Nelves representative acted in Nazjatar. Bridge is burned~ Nelves are too toxic for Nightborne to ever consider joining Alliance.

I’d be more worried about Tyrande tearing the Alliance apart.
Alliance needs to get its own house in order before trying to poach from the Horde.

I doubt we can trust the words of an addict Elf.

You mean fixing the Alliance and allowing them to evolve instead of being punching bags for the Horde?

Alliance has enough elves as it is imo
