About us and our aims
Formed at the start of Dragonflight and achieving 6/8 Mythic in our first season, First Pull is a community of like-minded gamers who enjoy playing WoW (and whatever is on sale on Steam!) together. We come from all across Europe and beyond, with experience ranging from multi-CE players to those experiencing WoW for the first time in Dragonflight.
The activities people enjoy range across; PvP; M+; achievement hunting; transmog runs; everything in between. The common thread is that we all seek to get the most out of the 6 hours a week we are raiding mythic together.
Our expectations of you as a guild member
Consistency: Signing for raids, attending those for which you sign. Real life happens, but with limited raid hours and to avoid benching people as much as possible, attendance is key.
Preparation: Respecting your time and those around you by having an understanding of your class, the current progression encounter and relevant enchantments and consumables.
Character Development: Likewise, we understand people have different amounts of time to invest in improving their character outside of raid times. However, we do expect to see effort being made to improve in terms of itemisation and ilvl to match our progression and aspirations.
What you can expect from us as a leadership team
Transparency: We are here to play the game just like everyone else, and therefore want to make sure that all decisions that are made regarding the day to day running of the guild are clearly communicated, and, where appropriate, arrived at in a collaborative manner with all guild members.
Dedication: Making sure that we are doing everything possible to ensure that there is a balanced raid group available for our two raid nights per week, focusing on finding like minded players who are able to be competitive at our intended level of progression whilst maintaining the community we have built thus far.
Support: We understand that people come from different levels of experience within WoW, and as such are keen to help anyone who wants to develop into a more rounded and capable player do so. Lack of experience is not a bar to being a successful raider with us - we put far more stock into attitude and willingness to improve and be active within the community.
