What about the achievements for unlocking races + their heritage armors in SL? We get them all for free when all the allied races are auto-unlocked in SL or they stay just for the guys who farmed the races “the hard” way in BfA?
Should I level up my allied races to 110 for the heritage armor achievements now , or just wait for SL?
Hello! From what I’ve understood, the achievements will still be there, as you’ll still have to do the allied race unlock questlines and level them to 40-50? in order to unlock their heritage armor. The only thing that’s being removed is the reputation requirement to unlock them. 
Correct you must complete their quest zone and their unlock quest still.
Heritage is unchanged
They are not. The rep requirements are going away but you still need to do the quests and other achievements (if any).
Though if they were to be auto-unlocked I imagine the achievement would either become a feat of strength/legacy or be reserved for people who actually go through the unlocking process to get the racial mount.
Misinformation is strong with this rumor. Allied Races won’t get autounlocked, you still will have to get to level 110 or 120 and do necessary questline to unlock recruitment questline. Then you will get achie and unlock the race. Only change is that you won’t need reputation but you will still have to unlock every single allied race. On Alpha they are unlocked because that’s what Blizzard does for test realms, they unlock some things automaticly for ease of testing.
Heritage armors aren’t going anywhere, you will get it at level 50 in SL. Still if you have a lot of free time you can still in my opinion get all the heritage armors before prepatch.
Here am I hoping that when they finally make the Night Elf heritage armor, it will be a PROPER SLOOTMOG. I mean, genuinely original Warcraft 3 night elf armor. Not the censored mess they gave people with the W3 remaster. The original one from the WoW Classic cinematic trailer, that was basically just steel bikini, piece of leather and some accessories. Would fit great with the SL customization for Nelves.
How to speed-unlock the allied races (must do BEFORE prepatch leveling changes though) on new account/realm:
This way you skip 86 out of 120 levels. Now you have a level 120, but you have no reputations to unlock the allied races, so you’ll now just have to wait for Shadowlands (or pre-patch, dunno when those rep requirements go away) to do the quests needed to unlock allied races (cause grinding rep with anything but honorbound/7th legion is a work for like 4 months - war campaign boosts these two so it only takes about a week or two)
Fastest way to unlock Heritage armor is just to create a DEATH KNIGHT of that race, so you only have to go through half the arduous process (yes it works, it’s how I unlocked Mag’har armor)
You need complete the story quests, but the reputation needs gone.
