I have a friend who like DKs and hates pandas.
I used to wind him up with the notion of panda DKs. It was a long-running joke between us based on how ridiculous and absurd a concept that would be.
Now the meme is real.

It’s cool and all, but how would a mecha gnome DK work?
Where’s the guy who always jumps in and tells people how X and Y class combinations aren’t possible because blah blah blah 
This DK thing is a clear example that Blizzard can do whatever the ef they want and no internet fact checkers will have a say in it 
…ofc now that it’s been basically put in the game, mechagnome and lightforged DKs will “make sense”… BUT ANYTHING ELSE WOULDN’T!!! …unless Blizzard adds it.
Probs going to try Vulperan, but think Mag’har would be very cool too.
No Alliance allies unlocked (yet), but Dark Iron would be great, and possibly Velves too 
Well im prob not that guy, but i still see more possibilites to raise a race from death to become dk, than allow a gnome to be a druid, or a goblin to be paladin…
And yes im tauren paladin, which prob in the same boat…

They are not 100% mechanicals, just some parts of them, so they are “living”, with soul inside them.

They had to literally rip the Lich King (the Helm) in two to mirror an event like that at Light’s Hope Chapel, or is it something a bit more contrived? Fair play, I’ll cede that their actually taking steps forward rather than retconing if its all about that helm but if it happens before then where were the armies of free-willed player-strength Death Knights during other major crisis points?
I still hold my ground on various X and Y class/race combinations. Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves are still nonsensical and Death Knights. Mechagnomes though, while I still dislike the overall Allied Race Death Knights thing, at least have some logic since the Scourge aren’t amatuers at suturing bits of people and machine together already.
Feels like Blizzard are grasping at straws a bit, though!

I think no few number of people is going to be tickled by Cyber-Zombie-midgets.
Most DK will be human and orcs just as always. Some BE dks if they wanna be pretty.

Pandaren and Allied races gets a -new- starting experience on par with allied race recruitment scenarios, and Bolvar is raising them.
So what dude? They just made up a reason in an hour. When I say I want Satyr allied race some loretards came up with lore reasons of why they can’t be allied race that is what I hate about them.
Lore is flexible and it can be turned upside down easily in an hour.
