Allow all the 3 modifiers in gamepad

Yes, I play in lazy mode dropped in my bed with my cat and white Monster while I swing my gamepad.

But I need more than only 2 key modifiers: with my keyboard I use about 102-104 keybinds, and gamepad only 40? Wtf.

Please, its a matter of entertainment.

I was always curious how you manage to play a MMORPG without controller optimization with a controller. Is it quite hard?

Depends on the activity.

I believe healing in a raid can be hard without an easy way to target unit frames. Doing world quests solo can be easy. Mileage would vary depending on activity, class/role/spec played, etc.

It just requires setting it up properly and getting used to it.

I tried it briefly yesterday after playing the diablo 4 beta, was using a controller to play it to see if I can just connect my computer to my TV when it’s launched to just sit and chill in the sofa while playing and thought “How does it feel in WoW?” and tried it. Me not being too familiar with playing with a controller means it would be quite hard for me in WoW but it didn’t seem to be too bad just from the 20 or so minutes I played with it, while being unfamiliar with controllers in 3d environments.

Though, I doubt it would be doable in a raid environment as a healer, it would take ages to select the right target to heal.

You have the point: controlling your chara is a must. Healer can just focus a group of 5 in example.

Or maybe its playstyle involves some required addons.

But what I demand is something native.

Sorry if my english sounds bad :S.

Aren’t you able to rebind it in the Keybind menu? I played on controller for quite a while far before the Controller integration in 8.0.5, using JoyToKey (MoP=>WoD) then Steam Big Picture (WoD=>SL).

I had: RT = Shift, LT = Ctrl, LB = Alt, Key = A, B, X, Y, RB, Select, Start, ↑, ↓, →, ←

So i had those combos:

Default Key, LT-Key, RT-Key, LB-Key, LT-RT-Key, LB-LT-Key, LB-RT-Key

So i had technically 77 binds, not all used for rotations, since some combos dont feel natural to do, and in some case there was actions like jumping that was on Default A as a natural convention for Western games to have.

If Blizz does not give you the option of having more than two multipliers, Steam allows it with ease, through Keyboard key emulation.

It’s the only real problem i had. And still, with a Steam Controller, i’ve been able to heal in Mythic Nyalotha on my MW monk. But conventional controllers have this limitation. Dungeon healing is easy, tho. I targeted my mates by using ↑↓←→ and me by just tab-targeting the mobs so i auto-targeted myself when using heal.

Nope. I know how to set in config.wtf and even in-game, but always the game goes crazy and one or more modifier disappear randomly.

Edit

Ok, I’ve listened my ancestors and now I have the answer I was looking for: gamepad keys cannot be shared between modifiers and mouse clicks.
