I was against all microtransactions back in wotlk and I never heard of asmongold back then. Game that back then costed about 80 euros, had monthly payment and started to sell mounts in their store. I’m sorry but I think that is greedy and not customer friendly. So yes I am against all microtransactions in world of warcraft, make it free to play and you are free to sell anything you want.

Btw, wow tokens enabled pay to win in wow since you can buy 425 ilevel items with gold.

we pay for each expansion, we pay for a monthly sub. such “flick of a switch” services like faction change, or your extra character slots should be free but have a cooldown. at least pets and mounts take some development time to create. but again, paid services should not be in a paid for game. cosmetic or not.

and why do you really need more than 50 toons? you cant be using all 50 every month, so are you creating bloat on the servers? especially as you want more?

though, tbh, you lost any credibility there. :\

You could be wrong, it could be as simple as a “realm=realmname” change or it could be a much larger copy, we don’t know. What I do know is a faction change has a lot of changes that need to be made. Some items are faction specific and need to be changed.

That I have to agree with, it’s not, to do a faction and realm change costs as much as a 110 boost. I would say they would sell more if they reduced the price, which would make up for the price reduction.

I don’t want to buy them, already paying enough for game and sub. Just give us some more character slots, thank you very much. 10 would do nice for starters. :pray:

I sorta agree with 1 caveat. all services should be reduced a lot. maybe to only £5~.

but the caveat, with services being that cheap, this will feed into one of the largest problems in wow: faction imbalance and dead servers. :frowning:

but in regards to topic, i dont see why anyone would need more than 50 toons. if you have hit 50 cap, there is a good chance that some are worth deleting?

It’s quite easy to hit the 50 cap. I trade with large quantities of gold, therefore i have 25+ level 1s on different realms to hold gold. That’s why it would be extremely nice if i could purchase more space instead of having to pay for two subs a month :slight_smile:
Also ontop of that you have your 90+ characters which you dont want to delete. Those would account for like 15 slots and then theres the OG chars with items that has been removed from the game or just holds a nostalgic feeling :slight_smile:

Was unaware 2 accounts could share mounts and tings. TBH… One account is enough for me anyway :slight_smile:

Yeah filling 50 goes fast. I think i got only 2-3 slots free atm. First having all classes on alliance and horde sort of main and main alts. Then extras with different races (especially allied races are now complicating things for me). Then couple of unplayed ones that are so old characters that it feels impossible to delete, because it would feel like going to museum and whacking some ming dynasty vases to pieces.
