I guess the expansion is over for people wanted to you know, do that thing…play the game. There has to be a solution to this kinda thing. Seeing a flock of druids fly around node stripping is really sad again.
I personally think they need to apply hyper spawning to nodes like they do mobs. So that the faster the farmers farm it the more the price bottoms out. Completely killing the advantages of bot farming. Making the very act of cheating the thing that makes it non profitable.

The community feeling I got by the end of Dragonflight, was that there was this sense of illusion that once The War Within came out, then everything would be fresh and working as intended again, and all these problems that had built up during Dragonflight would magically disappear.
Obvious wake-up call, but that’s clearly not the way it’s going to be. The War Within starts off right where Dragonflight left off. Same multi-boxing, botting, boosting, gold selling, and so forth.
There’s no honeymoon period here. The boosting business will have everything for sale as we’re used to the day after the Season begins. I guarantee it.
And if it’s all just gotten more prevalent through Dragonflight, then that’s only going to continue with The War Within.

The only thing it contributes is cheaper prices but it undermines people who do uses mining/herbing to fund thier wow time.
I mean, good? Effectively all those people are doing is working for people that buy gold and probably at less than minimum wage.
I realise it can be lucrative in some countries because exchange rates and purchasing power parity etc but if a German / French / British person is paying for wow through herbing they should get off their butts and get a real job.

I think in general it’s better if game economies are driven by single actors rather than botting companies. I do pay for my game, but if I pick up a valuable material, I want it to be worth something relatively, and not diminished in value by an army of bots. I think that’s pretty reasonable. Else I feel like my bags are loaded with trash and I don’t feel excited about getting an item.
Dont know what to say related the bots other than that cant say im surprised. Knew there will be bots and bots farming mats and using auctions. Ive watched it soon 20 years, the bots get banned in waves and they come back in waves.
Dont know how anything would be anyhow different unless its announced that there would be some changes that would make it somehow different. Otherwise I would just suspect its as been so far, hopefully there will be something else aswell at some point than just banwaves that also create cash flow when they make new accounts.

I am not sure what you are getting at here. Its a commercial product… meaning if you want it, you buy it. This principle works… uhm…pretty much for every item you see on the store shelves? Nobody is forcing you to buy it.

Don’t think they were bots tho , had legit names.
I also saw people just lvling up by herbing and mining and making a fortune.

these ‘‘programmers’’ make this bots, and sell them on discord/telegram etc for quite a lot…like 50-100 euros…and they work for 5-6 months,. in that time these make millions of gold gathering
