when are you going to allow me, as guild master, auto invite my alts to my guild … al you have to do is enable a way to send an invite via mail or when I next log them on. Its driving me mad, having to get one of my rl friends create an alt on my server, invite them, promote them, log off and on to alt and then get invited.
How hard can it be to allow me, as guild master, to send an invite next time they log on or just mail one … cmon blizz, ive been asking for this for many years now

Maybe they don’t want guilds to be one man empires for people.
Well, they kinda failed that since vanilla then. Even so, if you just ask a friend, family member or even a random person’s alt to quickly invite you to the guild it’s still the same thing, just with an annoying detour.
Don’t you need autographs from other people anyway? Which was mostly random people being paid, heh. Or is that gone?
Also, you might want to set up the guild properly before inviting other people to it, like filling up the guildbank a bit with professions on alts.

so they make it just a bit more difficult? why not prevent it, rather than just irritate, if its against their ethos
GMs will add your alts to guilds if you ask nicely I believe so it can’t be that frowned upon.
is that true? I don’t want to pester a gm just for this but if that’s a possibility and gms are happy to do it … cor
I read it on the US forums a while back so I presume it’s true, I was searching for a way to do it and found that. Haven’t tried myself though.
it’s definitely a nuisance for solo/bank guilds, would be nice if GMs would be able to invite their own alts.
You could if you have an inactive “Veteran” account ask Blizzard for some free time to invite them all.
I agree with you OP. It would be nice if we didn’t have to pester other people to get the alts on guilds.

Guild really COULD be “account-wide” for alts.
But, if guild use horde from leader. Only horde alts.
Same alliance guild and only alliances
It would make much more sense on the whole to be able to invite people who are offline with some kind of invite code.

Have the invite waiting in the guild/community interface area when they log back on. Also, having the option in there to block guild invites rather than having to go into the options for it could enable a second way to stop the spamming of guild invites for those who are guildless.
That wouldn’t work for everyone as some people have characters in different guilds for different purposes, for example one character might raid while another is there for arenas and RBGs and having guilds for that to match makes it easier for them.

It is definitely about time that the guild vendor sold a “Guild Invitation Scroll” that is BoA that you can send to your alts. It’s madness that this is not a thing already.

This is what I did
1 - Bought a battle chest account (free month sub)
2 - Ran 2 copies of WoW (1 normal and the new battle chest)
3 - Create 1 horde and 1 alliance battle chest toons
4 - Invited both to the respective guilds
5 - Make sure these toons have enough rights to invite
6 - Used both of these new toons to invite all the alts in
Important - make sure these toons are not removed from the guild. You can keep using these toons to invite more and more alts even though they no longer have an active subscription.
That’s exactly what I did with my alt guilds. I just bought cheap battlechest during black week deals and use that account to create inviter toons for both alliance and horde. They just sit there and when I create new alt I run two wows, log on both accounts and invite that alt.
But still they should make it easier. Game already can detect if that character is your alt or not so you can make a special case that will allow you to invite them.
I tried last week and didnt work 
the GM was really nice about it but they just can not do it .
I had one alt invited to my guild as I raised a ticket and didn’t know, the GM invited the alt just as a one time thing.
It would make my life easier as I tend to run several characters to get professions and build my mount and transmog collection. I’m sure it could be used for profit, but those people already exist out there.
Please Acti-lizzard. I wanna have a guild with all my (alts)friends.
Maybe it’s a “depends on the gm but they shouldn’t really do it” kinda thing then
