anyone feel the same? like the horde towers area is super tiny so 2-3 ppl can just sit there with aoes on and even when cced they can still interrupt person capping and cant get knocked away as easily by talents/fruits as the only place u can get thrown out from is the door.
Alliance bunkers are literally just a kill zone for enemy players. Any time I take them as Horde I stand at the front door, next to the door, and maul anyone who comes through the door while my healers stand on the high ground healing me and my wizards spam aoes on the same spot. Its ridiculously hard to push into these bunkers to take (or retake) them, whereas the Horde ones are all stacked in one spot around the flag and a single warlock with the teleport honour talent can move all defense out of the tower with one button press.
Alliance archers have full access to shoot you the entire time youâre fighting if 1v1 or 1v2, and capping the flag requires a very specific spot if you donât want to kill them first. Horde archers can be walked past.
The general or whatever he is with the heal aura can be dealt with easier as an Alliance. You walk up to the horde tower and cast an aoe at the top level , from the ground floor, and the general will run down to you outside, where you just root him and walk away. On the Alliance side, in addition to the first point about high ground and a big kill zone, the Alliance general is right within the middle of the stack and canât be hit by AoEs without entering into the doorway (where everyone is AoEing you)
Alliance have the infamous bridge of doom at their base, which is still hard to pass even in 2023. Same problem as Ashran (both sides) - pushing on a narrow bridge that is the exact same size as Blizzard or Rain of Fire or Volley = hard.
In the unlikely scenario that youâre defending Belinda/Galv, Belinda will iceblock on low HP
Everything about AV favours Alliance side, always has, always will
Not only Alterac. Twin peaks greatly favors the horde. Iâm tired of seeing druids, Dhs and other classes soaring over the map with the alliance flag.
Would be cool if Blizz âreworkedâ twinpeaks in having horde base situated at the top of a hill like the alliance counterpart, druid flying everywhere.
