Title. There’s barely any AVs going even on AV weekend, and no AVs at all when it’s not up. I’m not saying give 7,5k for 3 tokens - just up it to like 2k? 3,5k? Something

Yeah, AV is my fave BG so i am a little biased, but it’s the only one where there’s enough action and chance to get honor even on the losing side, which is ofc Alliance usually. If get outmatched tho, you lose quickly so it’s not a chore like AB. Even if allies go afk, you’re still free to do something fun. They should definitely buff the 3x marks honor significantly. Getting 5-10% of the total per match as a bonus every win or 3 losses is a bit absurd if you ask me
Did you try AB after the change? Honor is good even if you dont win games.

Of course. But AV has good rep rewards for example, that are now out of reach.

You want AV rep you got spamm Av and if you want WSG rep you do the thing in Ashenvail and if you want honor you spam AB. As long as you get 1200 points you will get more than 1 token. So if you want honor there is no need to do any thing else than spaming AB.
You must be unlucky, only getting stomped half the games.
Why they upgraded the ab marks, and not the “for greater honor” is beyond me.

Easiest solution to all this, makes all 3 bgs played.
(i wouldnt mind the marks stack higher than 20 though.)
AV comes out ==> WSG and AB die
WSG and AB get buffed ==> AV dies
AV gets buffed ==> guess what’s gonna happen?
It’s almost as if people do BGs just to maximize PvE rewards instead of PvPing…
Buff the honor gained from delivering 3 of each mark. BOOM all BGs alive

see, there are no AVs at all right now, so you can’t “spam” it. precisely my point. I want honored for AV bread, but I can’t get it - even though im R13 otherwise

go play AB/WSG if you want to get your ranks and gear.
AV is a literal AFK farm haven and it should never be made relevant again, in its current form.

There is a sulution to give most reward for turning the one where you need 3 marks from each BG.
Now there is no meening to play anything but AB.
There is no achivments and it gives the best honor.
There would be fun and cool if you reach R14 you could for x amount of tokens bye more stats or serten bonus to your pvp gear.
An example would be for WSG marks you can bye more str and for AB marks you can bye int and from AV you can bye stam and spirit.
For marks from all 3 bg,s you can bye a bonus.
Many have complained that the set bonus from pvp gear are horrible and that is they should get a few to chose from. See it as an pvp enchant. 1 set bonus and 1 weapond enchant.
the hard thing is to pick out what you can ad so it dosent give the op abiletys more power. Just as an example you wont get a buff to instant spells and buff the bubble for paladins.
This would also make people to go on pvp in BG,s after they hit R14

I mean AFK farm means nothing to you, if you wanna stay and fight you can do that. Especially on Horde, most players out of those 40, if not all are gonna start the rush just like normal. It’s only after 20 mins of stalemate that more people start leaving. But there’s a solution to make AV better: increase honor gained from smaller activities like caps, decrease the time it takes, buff the looting/scraps gain and rewards and make it so that players get extra mark for things like summoning the giant, capping certain ammount of objectives, taking mines etc. capped at like 6 or 9 instead of 3 max per match (but make 3 give less compared to other bgs) . That way everyone is gonna have the motive to keep trying even in a dragged out match. It will also make it on par with AB, since you can potentially get more rewards if you try hard enough, altho for a longer time, which is imo what AV should be- you a cogweel on a big battlefield, trying to do as much as possible to get massive rewards in the end

not just to me, but the playerbase at large.
there is a reason people refer to free stuff in retail as “welfare epics”.
the reason for this term is that these are items you haven’t earned - that you do not deserve - and the same is the case for AFK farming pvp gear in i.e AV.
Honestly they need to tweek PvP rewards in general. There’s no weapon as a reward all up to max rank. Whatever you do gain is overshadowed by PvE rewards. You can also go like 3 weeks of grind and not get anything meaningful. They should do, as you said, miscellaneous rewards like enchants, consumables and wider variety of trinkets that can be bought with marks
I mean i get that ofc, what i’m saying is that 3 ppl choosing to sit base is really not that detrimental and it’s not unique to AV. Alliance in general loves to go AFK, or as good as one when things get tight. Haven’t you seen how they stack like 10 ppl to defend LM against 1 rogue? But as i said, there are times in AV when it’s literay just snoozefest, but there is ways to fix that. It’s not as much of a bg issue as it is a current system issue
