I was wondering if anyone agrees. I’m loving playing boomkin - especially at 25, when you don’t have to be in boomkin form.
So I was thinking maybe it could be possible to add an alternative boomkin form, just like the starry form that got implemented in the later stages of WoW with glyphs.
Maybe it could be a rune that added some extra effects to boomkin form, or it could simlply be a quest you could complete to activate the alternative form.
Big thing is that you would still also be able to see the gear you have equipped. Just like shadowform/new boomkin glyphs.
Any thoughts?

I think all forms should have the option to at least reskin. There are so many skins of cats, bears, etc. It would be very cool if Druid could choose from them.
Doesnt sound very Classic-eske to have everybody reskin their forms. Metamorph (Warlock) is already pushing it, but atleast all Warlocks look the same which could have been expected 2005.
If it was up to me, Druid would be able to REMOVE all forms if anything, much like suggested by OP, having some sort of semi-transparent Boomkin/Bear/Cat aura around/on the caster to indicated what form it currently is in (as this is a big deal for atleast PvP).
New forms of shapeshift and there I sign. Especially on the horde side.

It would be just skins that are already in the game (not some fire cat). And it would be hard to do it, so people would carefully pick a skin. I just can’t see any harm in a cat form looking like a tiger, for example. It can still have a horns and an ears. And if someone would pretend to be stv tiger, what is wrong with that? He is druid so why not? And you can easily see who is player anyway. Groups would look better, and druids would get some compensation for not being able to see gear in forms. I am not a Druid, BTW, but I think it would be great.
