Since a mobile authenticator is required to make proper mythic+ groups, will there be an alternative to people such as myself who don’t own a smartphone?
Or will apps like Bluestacks work for this?

Then buy an old payg phone with a very small amount of credit, just to get texts, are you trying to help them solve the problem or just create barriers?

You don’t even need that, just go to a local phone shop, buy a 10€ phone and a sim card with 5€ everlasting credit on it. It’s only needed to receive an authentication code text.
You don’t need to have the authenticator on the phone.
Where and how do i set it up without the app?
I talked to support, and they told me that i need the app…
I own a Nokia 105, no way im getting an app on that.
And there’s nowhere in the authentification section in my Account Settings where i can setup something like SMS authentification.

When you install the app for the first time, if there’s no number on your account it’ll ask for one.
As Dottie has pointed out an Android emulator can be used to install the app - then you use your current mobile number to receive a confirmation text.
And yes it does work, I use my phone for my main account and Bluestacks with my second phone number for my other account.

You don’t need a smartphone, nor an android emulator. You do need a phone number, however, but any dumb phone works.
There are a number of 3rd-party authenticators, such as WinAuth.

I suppose WinAuth is the most practical for most people. I’ve only tried python-bna, and been satisfied with that, but I’m on Linux, and write code for a living, so what counts as useable for me doesn’t really matter.

You can make groups, you just cannot put custom text on your groups. Simples.

But I need to put it “NEED HUGE DPS GIGA BLASTERS ONLY 255+ ILVL” in the title of my mists +5? I literally can’t create the group if that isn’t an option.

I usually don’t do mythic+ alone. And i tend to be the party leader, so i list us for the key we’re going.
Which is not always my key.
I’ve had the Phone authenticator forever tho, but it still says ingame that i dont have one, anyone seen a fix for that?

I have mine on a ipod touch. Might be some cheap ones out there.
mobile authentification take a stand dont youse it . and it will over time go away ,if not play another game .
