Good morning everyone,i came here cause i wanted to share a thought i had for a couple days now.
Since blizzard gave us the 100% exp bonus buff and since legion goes on loot changes,what if they made the entire cloak quest chain skippable (if you already have it).
I know that there are 2 skippable parts in the chain but it wouldnt be an issue if we had the same skip like the BfA starting quest skip option ^^ even if we do lose all the rewards up to the cloak scenario part ! BoA tokens exists to gear up our alts and easy go in m+ to fast gear them.
I would love to hear what others player think about it too.

Thats a good suggestion that makes sense and it should have already happened.
So it probably wont happen.

If you can’t spare an hour to get the cloak for an alt, why are you even playing that alt?
Yes, yes, the cloak chain gets boring fast. But so does leveling, and that takes a lot longer. If you’re not willing to invest time into an alt, why level one to begin with?

It is more like 3 hours, isn’t it. Or probably there are also guides for this to do it as efficient/fast as possible 
There are plenty more things that get boring even faster and require far more time, yet, you do it nevertheless. Why not campaign to skip those first?
I actually don’t know. I spread it out through 3 days on my alt.
In any case: if you don’t want to invest time into an alt, why level one to begin with?
Leveling, gearing up, WQs, grinding Echoes will take much longer, and are even more repetitive and boring. Just spread the cloak chain out into a few days, and you won’t even notice it, compared to all the other grinds.
It is not about not wanting to spend time. It is HOW to spend the time. Like you said, it is only bareable spreading it over multiple days.
I am still doing the emmisary on my main and my alt. I can do this every 3 days. That is time investment.

Lol no. Last char took like 55 minutes including a drink break. I really do not get how some can spend 3 hours on it.

I did it only twice so i am not a specialist. But my main took more than 3 hours and my alt close to 3

as someone who got 13 cloaks - yes they should remove it.
only ones who are against it are just being d…ks for sake of being d…ks - just because they had to go through something horrible they want others too.
imo it should be entirerly skipable on alts.
because gearing is a fun part while doing story scenarios oneshotting 50k mobs over and over on alts isnt?
but wow forum i guess theres always someone who will argue for the sake of it. there is no reason to not skip the cloak quest on alts.
The difference here is - gearing up contributes to whole char, AP wise, gear wise, rep wise etc.
Cloak scenario eats up about 2 hours of your time basically doing 0 progress what so ever.
It seems petty but it kills the enthusiasm most people get when ding to fresh 120 on an alt.
You want to jump into the good stuff, doing invasions, visions, emmisaries etc. but instead you are stuck there, farming the dumb cloak.
I love the cloak. The scenario to get it was actually nice… for like first five times I did it. Later on I am not as amused.
This cloak quest line makes me depressed, even after they added those looooovely skips, how nice of them to add those skips : ) It’s not like they could makes us be able to skip the whole boring questline
They could give you much more in the way of skips IMO.
It really doesn’t take long, I’ve done it (only) 12 times (one for each class) . People seem to be upset about anything that takes more than 5 minutes. Is it fun? not really, is it terrible, no.
You also get a ton of currency and some loot by doing it as well.
12 times x 3 hours make 36 hours of gaming completly wasted.
for a lot of people 36 hours is more then they play monthly .
and they efectively cannot play patch untill they are done.
its horrendous system but its boosting MAU so blizzard will keep it.

3 hours ?? you are doing something really wrong. With 430 odd alts it takes little over an hour
Most of the cloak quests are actual assaults which you would have to do anyway,what problem ?
Then why do they need alts?
