It’s… tough.
I myself am quite the ‘‘altoholic’’, owning 37 max level characters and playing atleast 10 of them regularly, and I’ve been getting let downs after let downs since BFA released.
Let me give you a list…
- No skip for other faction zone outposts
- No skip for Nazjatar Intro up to WQ unlock
- No skip for Essences (AND NOT ACCOUNT WIDE FOR SOME REASON?!)
- No skip for Mechagon Intro (Which also means when there’s no WQ’s up, GL gearing your alts’ Ring and Trinket slots with 880+
- Probably many more unskipable things in 8.3.
Really annoying. Now if that wasn’t all, there’s also the rares. I only play around 2-3 hours a day myself, and I’m a mount farmer. Now someone at Blizz decided it was a great idea to put certain rares on a 30-90 minute respawn timer (or even 8 HOURS for Soundless, who often gets nuked by randoms anyway). And that would be fine, if the mount was like, 1/20. But Arachnoid Harvesters mount is already calculated as a 1/500 chance. That is the same as the WoD World Boss mount. That’s just ridicilous.
They did a great job with Argus and Warfronts. Low-Ish drop rate with a near instant respawn. It was fun to farm, and I got all of them, yet it still took a while.
The combination of long respawn + low af droprate is just horrible. I’m not asking for Argus or Warfronts like, but atleast a decent droprate or a shorter respawn would be nice? Atleast a fixed respawn timer like the World Bosses would be reasonable. But no, I guess.
I thought they’d fix it with 8.3’s Uldum/Vale mount rares, but a little birdy told me they’re also similar to the 8.2 rares’ respawn timers. So there goes my idea of using these 37 alts to farm the mounts. I don’t even have Arachnoid and Soundless yet…
If anyone from Blizz reads this, please think about us farmers and altoholics. We want to play WoW, we want to play your content, but atleast make it doable for everyone. I can’t even get 10 Soundless kills on a daily basis before having to log off, and Arachnoid is nuked by randoms for the Spare Part drops. Rustfeather is even worse I’ve heard… And having to do the stupid intro’s for every character… Ugh.

I am pretty sick of the Nazj unlock and I haven’t even attempted the Mechagon one on more than two chars. It’s all so longwinded to repeat again and again and again.

Truely. I wanted to prepare my alts for 8.3 by getting them all in Benthic, but now I can only farm it on 3 of my characters instead of all cause fk doing Nazj + Essences on all of these characters…

One mount being extremely rare to get (up to years of farming due to x things) in 500 isn’t bad.
Stop trying to make everything NON exclusive.
I defend the fact I CAN’T use the Qiraji mounts, because I just joined a month and a half ago, im fine with not having one f2cking mount in over 250.
It wouldn’t be bad if the respawn was atleast decent/fixed. If it was a fixed 15 minute respawn you could just do something else while having a stopwatch run, and just log your next alt for it just before the timer runs out. Theres an addon for the World boss timers, but because Arachnoid etc is not a fixed timer, you have to get lucky and be in the area or actively camp it.
I understand camping as in camping TLPD/Aeonaxx (8 hr respawn, shares spawns blablabla) but camping a rare that has a 1/500 chance of dropping a mount? That’s just stupid.
I had a stockpile of pearls on my main but I depleted them with all the chars I put through KR AV.
However simple things like the World Boss in Nazjatar can’t be accessed with out unlocking the zone.
Btw both Rustfeather and Arachnoid Harvester often have camp groups, so the moment it spawns they tend to die quite fast.

Same thing here, I leveled 25 alts in KR AV and only managed to gear like 6…
Rustfeather and Arachnoid are often killed by randoms though, especially Rustfeather. I had to make a discord group for Soundless (nearly 250 members) and added those two rares aswell, but the amount of announcements they get is really sad, while the demand is just as high if not higher than Soundless. All cause randoms can’t wait and nuke it…
I barely find any camp groups up though, they’re probably at a later time.
Yep, didn’t even bother to read what I said or you’re just too demanding, like most people playing games.
I bet when you make a character you need 7 hours to cool off due to the fact it’s not instant 120, with every achievement, pet, mount, guild achiev, every 1h axe, mace, sword, shield, off hand, staff, 2h axe, mace, sword, bow, wand, gun for transmog, garrison, all essences and full progression on heroics, mythics, normal and LFR, and plus titles.
It’s that stupid of a point…
I had 19 max levels before KR AV and now I have 43

I’m tired with one, I imagine with alts.
I’m almost giving up already (…) for someone who can only play one hour a day, including weekends, it’s a pain. It’s feels like a job and not a game.

You should be allowed to play the content you want when you want. Not being forced to do it for the sake of keep playing, which is what happens with BFA.
What’s the point of doing it all over again on a alt when you have it on your main?
This incentives to rush stuff, not enjoy it.
Also being rude isn’t about arguing. It’s about being ignorant and not accepting other people’s opinions. There’s a difference there. There’s lots of healthy arguments across the forums, this isn’t one of them.

I tried to get the “golden” proto drake, I only tried like twice, there were more players the first time, I killed the other “Normal model” one, the second time I didn’t find anyone.
Imagine I would come here saying the method to get it is stupid.
I didn’t, since im not a child I sucked it up and accepted the fact I had to try more times?
