Genuinely not sure if I’m wrong or the game isn’t working correctly.
I have just achieved Zandalar Forever! on my Belf DK and I have Tides of Vengeance on my Human Warrior.
Rokhan has not appeared in the allied race hall to give me the first quest to unlock Zandalari troll.
Now, it says I don’t have Tides of Vengeance because, of course, I do not, on my horde character.
However, I don’t have Ready for War on my horde character either, yet I was able to take the Maghar Orc quest, and I now have them unlocked?
To be clear, Maghar Orcs require Ready for War and the banner said I do NOT have this achievement, but let me take the quest anyway.
Did I miss a dumb quest somewhere, is it bugged and not letting me get Zandalari, or was it bugged when it let me get Maghar?
So it seems like the consensus is that Ready for War is cross faction but Tides of Vengeance is not?
That seems odd, because my Horde character does not have Ready for War and I was still able to get Mag’har.
Have we ever had any Blizz clarification for this, or is it an oversight? (Either Ready for War being cross faction being the oversight, or Tides of Vengeance NOT being cross faction being the oversight?)
I assume that Tides of Vengeance is specifically not cross faction since there is an achievement that requires you to do both the Horde and Alliance version, therefore the system needs to track each one separately to track progress on Two Sides to Every Tale. This achievement wasn’t in place when Ready for War first came out, and perhaps wasn’t even planned, which may be why that one is cross faction. Of course that’s just my assumptions, so may not be correct.
No it is not when i moved to horde to join Ceranity guild i had to redo all of the war campaign again on a char (my hunter) which had already completed it .
i achieved 'Zandalar Forever!" on my Horde character but then faction changed him,
all the achvs are completed Horde side but no achv for ‘Zandalar Forever!’
does this mean i’ll have to do the whole of Zandalar again?
