Am I doing the Story Event wrong?

I’m trying to do the 20th Anniversary Meta Achievement.
The Story Event needs 50 reactions. I’ve done it 3 times now (the first time I got there a bit late and only got 3 reactions). 2nd time I got 7 and 3rd time 6. So I’m on 16 reactions.

An extra button appears, I click it then it goes on Cooldown and disappears before cooldown refreshes.

Am I supposed to be doing something else? are there other things to click? Should I be talking with an npc?

Surely I’m not meant to do this thing another 6 or 7 times hearing the same stories over and over?

Some of the stories have an option to throw tomatoes at the stage, you can repeatedly smash the button for more interactions.

Thanks. hopefully that will make this achievemnt tolerable.
The mount one and the fashion one only needed a single interaction. Although I did the mount one 4 times and got the achievement for 20 matches anyhow.

I spotted that button this time (same Magatha Grimtotem story as before) and was able to get 13 reactions so now I’m on 29.
That makes this doable in 2 or 3 more goes probably. Which is much better.

It was a really slow achievement to clock off. Too many reactions required for how few you actually get in one sitting.

The story with C’Thun is the other one.

Not seen that one yet. Twice of the Death Knights and twice for the Grimtotems so far.

It rotates one after the other, worst one is the LK… there’s only like 6 or 7 emotes to do in it.

The Cthun one was the best for me, i managed to get 16 in that one twice, there is btw also an achievement for having listened to all 3 stories.

Unless they fixed it, no it doesnt. I did the same 2 stories 4 times in a row, the 3rd story didn’t pop up for me until after that.

Havent heard anything about them fixing it, but indeed it didnt for me, i got the same one 3 times in a row

Nope, it’s 50.

I’m on 42 now after another go of Grimtotems. Still no sign of C’thun. Hopefully next time so I can clear two achievements in one go.

gram i swear it. i did with 20. ill check this evening at home since i cant check now in armory

EDIT: i see in a website 50 in fact. ok probably ive mistaken
