Considering you have 8000 forum posts I’m sure you have a lot of free time to focus on things that don’t matter good try tho

I’ll take a new/bad roleplayer that’s making an effort over someone who can’t even bothered to make even the smallest amount of effort to contribute, any day of the week. The fact of the matter is “they” are contributing, someone that’s where to solely take with out giving back is not. Look up the definition of parasite.
I am sorry, but parasite? You and Tehya (though much less) are downright nasty. I’d be careful if I were you before throwing out words like that. You do realize that at the end of the day this is a game? I know, the most banal of arguments, but someone had to say it, sometimes you need to sit back and take a long breath, then proceed to rethink what’s important and what is not. Getting THAT worked up over something so trivial is truly asinine in my eyes. You are part of the problem and the reason I was ‘afraid’.

Then you should reread both of our posts and realize that we’re talking about people who don’t RP at all. (But still think its cool to watch usually in the form of a big loud mount flying above and dont you dare complain about it)

I don’t understand the wariness from the RPers here.
OP has clearly stated that they’ll be respectful and won’t interfere with ongoing RP, so what exactly is the issue?
So they don’t plan on RPing themselves because of introversion. Fair enough. It may or may not change in the future if they observed some RP or find people they get along with that can help overcome the initial hurdles.
“Zoo animals”? I mean, you’re RPing in the presence of other people, so you’re naturally being watched. By those who participate in the very same hobby as well as those who don’t (yet).
If said observers are discussing and/or mocking what you’re doing in /s or start trolling/interfering - yes, of course that’s a valid reason to be upset, to take action even. But someone who remains silent, out of the way and doesn’t disturb your immersion?
Which, as a tip for the OP - if you do want to observe, make sure not to stick out like a sore thumb. No obstructing mammoth mounts or noisy robots, please. Stealthed would be ideal.
And like someone suggested earlier, get TRP3. It’ll help, even if you leave it barren.

A lot of people are very exasperated, people have roleplayed as a hobby for years and as they’ve grown up the time they get to roleplay has decreased.
We had an issue a while ago where Argent Dawn was very popular with Twitch and YouTube content creators. They came, along with their flocks of idjit fans to do some weird running event, conduct political demonstrations or just peep on roleplay and the fallout from each one has never been pleasant, the worst I’ve seen was sodap*pin’s running of the trolls which had a good 100+ players run through silvermoon on naked trolls screaming racial profanities.
“It’s just one night of no roleplay bro, it’s a big streamer even you’ll! You’ll live.” - NEET playing via the bank of mummy.
Pile this on top of years of people who “come here for the zen atmosphere” usually being quite disrespectful to roleplay as a hobby and you’ve got a pretty jaded community.
By all means, like the other posters have said, you’re welcome because you’re at least inclined to potentially try it. But most are like Bukachu here or worse.

There is a difference between an OOCer that stands next to a wall, out of the way, just passively observing while he is in a queue and an OOCer that stops in his tracks when he sees RPers and stands there awkwardly, staring. Possibly deploying the all reliable “lmao nerds” before leaving.

There is someone who infrequently posts on this forum, who had a friend over from another realm and threw “this is Argent (insert pun about a disability) XD” in chat while people were roleplaying. I’ve thought very little of them since then.
