Tbh it dépend more on your exp and on your motivation.
Itâs depressing to get globaled by all th insane stuff without gear especially with 220gear people at low cr ^^
Iâd say 190ilvl is good to begin I did multiple char with around same ilvl.
You can defo start now but as Drpourritus said itâs all up to motivation if you dont have a problem flipping a coin for games you can start now.
Go get triune ward and youâre sorted. Also to be honest with you, I would of probably grinded out pve gear instead since it would of been faster / higher ilvl even if only slightly lower versa. It gets the job done all the same by this point until around 1800 or so.
donât do anything rated under ilvl 200. Will save you some frustration (still will have a lot though).
Also easier to find actual people to play with
Thanks for the tips. I farm 7/7 and do LFR 3 bosses for the Triune since I play atleast 12 hours per day.
covenant campaign gives you almost a full set of 197 gear if you do world quests for a few hours to grind the anima required to upgrade it
you have to do the campaign to cap your renown anyway so there is no downside
I started doing arenas in 186 ilvl,at lower ratings had no issues,but now at 1400,as 195 ilvl,im starting to get stomped a bit,by rbg heros.
If u want to try arena as 160 ilvl dps,you gotta play with either boomie,or some other class that relies on fast kills,but they gotta be geared to semi carry your lack of gear.
My honest advice would be (which i followed on all 3 chars i geared this season) get at least covenant set to 197,finish covenant for weapon.
Do daily random bgâs,ashran quest and wg quest for conquest/honor.
Buy trinkets but leave them at 158 ilvl.Buy rings,neck and enchant everything you can.
Do world boss every reset (chance of getting 207 ilvl item) and do raid,beg people for items,most people dont need them anyway.
This weeks pvp quest is skirmish honor,that should be easy.
ORâŠYou can do every mythic 0 dung,and have full epic gear in 2 days. (u can do it in few hours actually,but question is how bad do u want it)
Versa or no versa,it doesnât matter for now.All it matters is having high enough ilvl to do rbgâs for easy 1400 push,but before anything else,buy double pvp trinket. Medallion/Emblem for start,u gonna need that hp.
PS : When u are upgrading that covenant set,remember to do weekly world boss and raid (first kill only)Sire Denathrius (he drops quest that gives u 1250 anima)
There are few world quests with 250 anima reward.You can actually stay and clear whole raid ,its good for potential item drop and anima farm.Dont worry about your dps,others will carry you.
This is something i did,and in 2 weeks (with 2 weekly vaults) i was fully geared.Now,it all depends on your pvp capabilities,and how fast u can farm conquest in 2s or 3s once you get at least 190-195 ilvl.
And finally (sorry i know its the damn wall of text) but keep in mind,you gonna get desroyed in pvp,most of your games actually (until you gear up properly) but the trick is not to give up.
Believe me,many people do and did give up.

Its no fun when you face 40 k hp players in 185 ilvl,whatâs important is to try.
You wont face 40 k hp people all the time.
Most of games at low cr are vs people in low gear,and 1400 should be relatively easy,if you can find proper partner.
If arena fails,then you can easily push 1400-1600 in rbgâs,because you dont even lose rating until 1350-1400 (actually it all depends on your previous rbg wins) if you stack up that mmr,you wont lose rating for couple games.
First win after you reach 1400 is about 120-150 rating (if your mmr is solid) Thatâs 1550 already.All u need is 4-5 wins,and if you had luck with some wins before,your mmr wont allow you to lose rating if you lose few games,depends on mmr.
I got trough it on 2 of my chars,both are 220 ilvl now.Got 1800 on both under 100 rbg games in total,and both started from where you are now.Didnât have any previous experience playing those specific classes,but i was willing to learn and adapt.
