The better I’m geared, the bigger is the dps gap between the most popular dps classes and me. They can do 10+ million AoE, 3-4+ million overall dps in any dungeon I participate in.
Earlier, at lower levels (<650ilvl) I thought that the scaling will change and I’ll be able to do decent dps, but nothing changed, I’m rather left more and more behind.
I know, I don’t play conduit (can’t stand that buggy playstyle where you have to learn tricks to be functional), but at this ilvl I can’t be compared to any other half decent dps players at this point.
I also read that channeled abilities don’t function properly, they fail to finish. Maybe this can be the source of the problem? Or I’m just that bad? Any help?
Ok, I could accept this, but I talked about this with a friend recently. He said, without these restrictions, the numbers would skyrocket. Yeah, for some specs skyrocketing is allowed, for some it isn’t. I feel a bias here…
In physics/nature, everything is heading towards the least resistance, the most stable state. So here, in this very community, even on the lower keylevels with a spec that can’t do proper dps, neither has any real utility (cr, immunity, bl), you are inferior. They give you a stoic whisk and they will invite that retri or balance instead.
I can’t and won’t reroll either, because otherwise this spec feels fun to play. But with fun and also being able to put something to the table, I would call it flow. I want to feel the flow.
Can agree - serenity felt much better than SEF. As for damage from WWs I had in my keys, they fall behind on Shadopan, meanwhile, you need to be quick and stay on top of your burst windows with SW (when playing conduit) and then use your leftover resources as best as possible. I usually match a lot of classes on damage.
