I’m really considering playing my DK again…
please can someone talk me out of it? is uh and frost still C tier for pvp?
just looking for an alt to perform well in bgs and duels and some 2s
I don’t know anymore. The feelings and opinions on DK are extremely polarized at the moment. I guess the best thing to do is to try it out and see for yourself.
too soon to talk about pvp atm, lots of mixed opinions, so i just quit following stuff
for pve, all 3 DK specs are looking good for castle nathria (sims so take salt with it), with me being very quiet hoping unholy does not get nerfed during HC raid week

unholy is amazing in dungeons, same story as always, if the pull is more than 6 mobs, there is no chance any other dps will ever come remotely close to you.
If you disable worldpvp, and get an addon to remove your pvp tab and autodecline duels, DK is an excellent, very powerful option.
If you make the mistake of joining a bg or arena on your dk, it will be like playing Amnesia: You dont really “fight” anyone per se, you just run around and hide, scared, whimpering, tear-eyed, while the big bad monsters chase you around to gobble you up. If you enjoy this new survival-horror take on classic wow bgs, go ahead.

If you start to pvp as a dk you will hate yourself. Its really bad or other classes are just that op.

this, although our pvp survival is less a problem with us, and more a problem what the game has become with outliers being insane (sub rogue, WW monk etc)
Yes. And that is the very reason DK also should be insane. I repeat myself. They will never manage to make Unholy a good PvP spec again after their pet damage iteration.
Without some major reworks this will not change.
