Finally we’re actually going to have some buttons to press. It seems like many of the changes are based on increasing the playstyle variety of havoc after an expansion of boring demonic build. I’m especially liking the prospect of unbound chaos / momentum becoming the new meta, DH would instantly go from the lowest to one of the highest skill cap specs.

I dont know about highest skillcap, higher skillcap maybe - Nevertheless higher skillcap is not a good combination with massive nerfs.
Im not a fan of FOTM bias and i always invite a player - not the spec, as i push keys between 15 - 20 where any decent player can perform with any spec.
Anyway, community does not think like that, low sims and huge nerfs and community will think “This spec bad kek this spec not get invite kek” and alot of people will be declined because of it.

The reality, unfortunately.
If you think any of these people will actually respect DH now that it’s complexity has been raised and it’s well-rounded stats have been lowered, I’ve got a boat I’d like to sell you.
At the end of the day, with all the hate DH’s get, they’re still almost a guaranteed invite to instances. But now these nerfs have hit, and their potential for mediocrity threatens to become a reality; the class could face being a joke that isn’t bothered with as opposed to a hated one that at least gets picked.
I’ve made my peace with one. Not sure I can with the other.

Correct. When community has been brainwashed into a certain view it rarely or never reverses.
Havoc have not been THE top spec in anything this expac, nevertheless the answer from blizzard after all the hate against havoc is to nerf the spec into oblivion, leaving the class with no dps alternative.
A rogue spec got nerfed? Both of the others will cover every content as OP ever since vanilla.
Hearing “2 button rotation” from fury warriors, fire mages, frost dks, ret palas++ is the second funniest thing.
The funniest is hearing “NERF DH” from destro locks and fire mages while they oneshot geared people spamming 1 button.
So dh got the nerf, if the spec gets some buff again community will yel OP NERF if it performs anything near decent.
Havoc is the new ret pala, its supposed to be bad - Rogues, locks and mages “Just are laike thet kek lol they dps classes” and will forever have at least one op spec in every content.

SIms are irelevant in this game, i tell you why, they represent what your character with certain gear stat combos etc would perform if played 100% without any mistake just pure perfection,real numbers are very different and they depend on player how he play the class/spec.Sims do not take account the human error, because no1 plays 100% without mistakes.You have evidence ingame of this too ,same geared people in like HC pug or even your mythic raid and one is top class acording to sims and other is lower than average and yet he still outperforms in dps.

I didnt say that sims matters, i said that community does think so, and they do. And whatever specs are bottom tier will have a harder time getting invited to stuff because a huge part of the community doesnt think themselves, they listen to the latest tier-lists and what they heard from someone and they will stribe after minmaxing like the top notch guilds.

As someone else put it in another thread, these people wreck the game for the silent majority, while they piss and moan on here out of selfish ignorance.
Do you think Blizzard knows the exact same people cry for the outright deletion of the DH? Of course not. Because the CM’s don’t relay utterly moron statements to the team. But nerfs are someone that can be worked in and with enough crying, it’s worked.
I’ve actually encountered this personally several times on pvp when a fire mage can one tap both you AND another class at the same time before they’re even seen, and you’re both 460+, you have to think “maybe someone isn’t quite right.”
But browse the forums. Radio silence on mages and rogues.
The herd mentality never fails to surprise me.

I’m not liking it, and I’m not liking the fact I have to apply a MS effect with my Fel Rush either.
