Pretty sure it didn’t say anything about rights. Garithos was always a red cloth (understandably) for the Blood Elves. I would have to check to be honest.
Yeah it’s from the chapter “New Allegiances” of Chronicle 3, I read it again now and I guess what I said is not exactly correct anymore, the problem is that when I read it the first time, it was before Blizzard declared the Chronicles were written by the prospective of the Titans, so I assumed the text was written from the Blood Elf point of view, and the text says the relationship between Quel’thalas and the Alliance was ruined because of Kael’thas joining the Naga and Illidan, so back then I thought Lor’themar put the blame on Kael’thas rather than Garithos for that at least now that is solved since I recall that annoyed me actually
They did learn to be Demon Hunters, but success rates were low as Illidan put the Sunfury Blood Elves through trials that didn’t involve the Night Elves.
Part of the Night Elf trial was them being able to reach Karabor in the first place. The Blood Elves had an easier time in this regard because they were already on Outland. If Kael’thas had sent his warriors after he left for Netherstorm, then all it would require would be a portal that High Nethermancer Zerevor would have conjured.
Now, this isn’t to put the Blood Elves down as Varedis had bested 3 of Illidan’s tutors, but the trials were different and we can’t deny that success rates were extremely low. (For both Night Elves and Blood Elves.) Plus, lets not forget - Night Elves can easily take up the art of the Demon Hunter without the Illidari. We’ve seen those guys scattered around.
Only those with most determination seemed to pass.
That includes Varedis, but also Allari the Soulbinder, possibly a Sunfury Warlock but wanted to go that step further; Kor’vas Bloodthorn, a Night Elf who saw her family cut down by the Legion with her own eyes.
It’s very different, but it’s again - Illidari Demon Hunter success rates remained low, with most Blood Elves remaining as Warlocks, Mages and Blood Guardians. Orcs being the Warriors and Warlocks. Naga being the “Water-casting people.”
