There are a bunch of honor levels that don’t give you anything. I need to level up 5 or 10 honor levels to get a reward but between this cool reward (recolor of a mount) I get nothing. It wouldn’t be that bad if honor requirments weren’t that harsh (8800). I’ve seen some people with very high levels like 300+. I suppose most of them got their levels during Legion. In Legion because of templates I lost my interest in PvP and so I had maybe 6 prestiges maximum on 1 character. Some of players abused a lot of levels as I heard many times. Have they been punished by removing those levels? What about new players or players new to PvP. I doubt they’ll ever reach lvl 50 even by doing a lot of PvP. I am in shock of how poorly this system is made. This might like only people who abused levels and weren’t punished or those who leveled them in legion when it was easier. This system has to change, it’s too rough. I’m not accepting something like “it’s not a mandatory thing”. It’s the MMORPG (though in recent years it seems less and less as being one) where people dedicate their time to achieve something and achieving higher honor levels should be achievable realistically and sensibly. For many years honor was a reward for engaging in PvP which practically was making you stronger by spending it on an equipment but since Legion it lost its value in that sense. On random BGs we still mostly get honor and just a little bit of conquest points, which we use to get a piece of semi random equipment, and it makes gearing up much harder than it was before. So if honor’s value is lost why not giving more of it from all the sources or making honor requirments for a level less and increasing it at much higher levels?
I was 25 honor level when bfa launched. I’m 476 honor level now. Amount is not much.
Blizzard have always done this to pvp. They always give pvpers the short end of the stick. This system is made for people that just pvp in WoW and do nothing else.
I’ve heard them saying they want me people to try pvp, but when they do this it’s hard to believe. Having to no-life to get high honor levels and no gear vendor is not how you get more people to pvp, especially the more casual crowd which tend to play Alliance - which in turn will further increase the disparity between the factions.
Well this game is hobby to me in my free time, I have 8 chars maxed to ilvl 440 and my main can be 446 ilvl with wrong stats.
And I have been 476 honor level in 1year time as well.
