An app for only tracking specific buffs and debuffs

Since a few days I started using Shadowed Unit Frames. So far I have worked with the new Unit Frames, but they’re unedittable.

I want to change the size, remove certain things like the avatar head.

I have managed to set it up decently, but one thing bothers me, I see ALL buffs and debuffs. I don’t want to see everything, who can pay attention to 10+ buffs per character in a group?

I just want to see things like Glimmer, Riptide, Rejuvenation etc on party members. Not talking about CDs like with OmniCD, I just don’t want to see all their buffs, I can’t focus on that, just the important one?ones, is there such an app?

Plater is very customisable but may take some time to set up exactly how you want.

Yeah I am using plater, I can also use that for Unit Frames? Since I hate the Unit Frames from that new UI.

I tried this addon, Shadowed Unit Frames, but I seem to get into trouble. It’s just not showing what I want to see. I am having big issues dispelling now, so I removed it and looking for something better.

Thanks for replying though oww tiny one!

ElvUI filters can do this.

Personally I imported a plater profile from a youtuber who even made specific colors for important M+ mobs and special colors for their important to interrupt casts.

It is a shame that we cannot customize friendly nameplates because some mythic raiders trivialized that mythic Star Seer guy in Nighthold.

Here is a link to the video that is about that M+ profile

Zperl is much better for dispels, it colors frames based on debuff types, assuming you have a way to dispel it (ie. poisons in green for druids).

I had to use SUF myself during the DF prepatch as Zperl’s author took a whole month to update the addon. I was so unsatisfied I went with the default UI and had my party frames turned to raid frames to see dispels better.

Shadowed Unit Frames has white- and blacklists for buffs and debunks as well as some basic filters like dispellable, only cast by you, etc.

The game spams tons of useless information in the buff frames and it’s kinda hard to sort it all manually, but that’s what you can do in SUF.

I appreciate it, but for me, ElvUI is too complicated. Too bad, I really don’t like the looks of the character / focus / target / boss unit frames. When I change the party to raid looks, that is how I want the rest to look.

I also freaked out with ElvUI being too vast, but I managed to get used to it within less than a week.
You can set ElvUI so you do not have any ElvUI elements other than the ones you want to while retaining the rest of the Blizzard UI

FlyPlateBuffs was the best one, but creator stopped supporting it. I use NameplateAuras now - takes time to adjust needed buffs/debuffs, but generally it’s way easier to set up and has enough quality of life options.

This looks lovely, if I was playing a DoT focused class, I would want that.
I wonder how it fares in a raid
