Just thinking for arcane, maybe a talent where PoM can be used on evocation but uses up 2 charges. Maybe a talent for it.
Also bring Incanters flow inline with RoP

Nah, instant full mana and max Siphon Storm buff would be way too powerful, especially in PvP.
Either that or remove/replace RoP.
Meh, that would give us another death talent.
If anything, make RoP a regular buff instead a place down.
But I like RoP in current iteration.
If they want to keep RoP, they should revert it back to how it used to be.
I found it far more tolerable when it was a ground based maintenance buff that lasted for 1/3 minutes, you could place 2 of them at once and they provided a 15% damage boost against IF’s fluctuating 4-20% boost.
You got slightly higher damage overall if you could afford to stand in two fixed locations, which was the trade-off to the talent. Nowadays if you have to move within the 10 seconds RoP is up, it can screw up your entire dps because so much of our damage is tied up in the burst it provides.

I mean mage design is straight from classic, you don’t move = you do huge dps.
Unless you should always move as actual wow boss mechanics moved miles away from classic and dps is not that huge overall anyways.
It’s like blizztard halfway forgot mages exist in the game.
If thats a pvp suggestion i doubt it will go thru.
As for PVE, my thoughts from another thread:
With Dragonflight they have turned WoW into a never ending dance dance revolution session where its mostly “move or die” and arcane is a spec needs heavily relies on standing still to cast or face doing little to no damage. The main issue is Rune of Power and Radiant Spark.
ROP + Movement = you move out of the rune and 40% of your dmg is gone
Radiant Spark + Movement: You run out of time to get the rotation in the spark window with the stacks, and again your damage is ruined. It’s the first expansion where I feel it really isn’t fun to play as most mechanics are fatally punishing, ending up one-shoting you if you fail to move.
Moreover the winds mechanics are just plain horrible (Ruby Life Pools f.ex).
It really feels like the dungeons play you instead of you playing the dungeons.
A 50% increase to Rune of Powers radius (or just completely do away with it, trust me nobody will shred a tear) and 15sec on radiant spark would help a lot (its not like the dot does any dmg anyway).
But i get the feeling that blizzard does not want you to do damage all the time to the max and force you into situations where you simply cannot, or have to have luck to do damage, which is just not fun.
A flat damage 5-10% damage increase would not do much at this point in m+.
Did you check mage-hub for the actual range before typing this?
The range is already massive.
If you did and still wrote this, fair play if that’s what you think ^^.
The range is 8 exactly yards as the tooltip says which is larger than the visual.
