Hello, my cat has sadly fip decease, and his time is about to come to an end. I want to immortalize her as a pet in my RP, something to remember. Therefore, I need to find a cat looking like him. He is basically a silly norwegian forest cat but street edition, not too distinctly have his kin’s features because he is not a pure-breed. Anyone know any pet cat that has resemblance to what I just described? Sorry for the saddening post, I hope everybody will have a beautiful day nontheless

Hey, idk how much time your cat has left, but fip isn’t a death sentence anymore. Our kitten was diagnosed with it too and we started a grey market treatment in june and he by now is fully recovered (we’re in an observation phase now). Vets aren’t allowed to prescribe this medication due to licensing/patent dispute around it, but it has been proven to work. You could still ask your local vet about it directly and if they are aware and are a sympathetic type, they might confirm. In simple terms it’s a covid medicine.
I don’t know what country you’re in, so the process of obtaining it may be different to how we acquired it, but if you want to give it a chance, search google for “fip warriors” and give it a read. There are likely grassroots type support groups in your region too that can help. It is a rather involved and difficult treatment, but it is a chance at saving a pet’s life.

Not a suggestion from me but just to say, thoughts are with you during this difficult time!
I’ve recently done something similar myself after I had to put my dog to sleep, so now I roleplay my OC here as being her owner. It really helps to continue their memory and immortalize them as you said in your original post. I find myself writing stories and remembering the small things as I’m typing along.
I hope this gives you as much comfort as it can in this difficult time.

I appreciate it, but sadly even though we got the medicine he is doing everything in his power to reject and not eat it. We have been trying to give him the meds for a week now, sometime he eats one instead of two and a half, sometimes doesnt eat. And because he is almost unable to move at this point, it creates a mess in the process of making him eat, more of a torture. Ends up his fur got messed up, and he also cant clean himself so we forcefully have to clean him etc. like it gets very messy and chaotic. If you know any specific trick to make a cat eat meds, please do share. Nothing worked on that so far sadly 
We started off by doing injections for around 2 months, which was a nightmare of its own. Had we not seen massive improvement in his health within the first 3 days, we would not have continued. It wasn’t pretty, but it was worth it in the end.
For the 3rd month we switched to giving the medicine orally. What we did was crush the tablets into small chunks, take a spoonful of baby food (chicken flavor specially, you know, the kind of goop) and just offered it to him. He loves that baby food and would lick it all up no questions asked.
I’m not gonna insist or judge you or anything, because i know how difficult it is for both you and the cat. I felt the need to point out that there was a way, even when we outselves thought it was over.

I appreciate it, though our situation is likely different. My cat didn’t get diagnose for months and months as he slowly lost his ability to move. It came to a point where he basically hardly crawls, and then, they had an idea of FIP, because there is literal nothing coming up on his tests. Nothing. He developed a severe fear towards hospitals and vets and also because he can’t move properly anymore, it is an actualy torture to the animal to take him to hospitals at this point, not considering the part where they will not do the injection because the said meds are illegal. The country I live in sucks in many perspectives and I am pretty sure he could’ve survived this if the place was different, but it is how it is.
We tried that as well, he somehow understands and decides not to eat. He barely eats anything anyway. I still thank you for your input, it could’ve changed something if we haven’t tried or I didn’t know the medicine. Big thanks, hopefully some other people may need will see it.
Yeah we also wasted a lot of time with being misdiagnosed by different vets, to the point that he had his lungs practically full with liquid, at which point one vet had a lucky guess. They too wouldn’t do injections, so we had to do them ourselves.
