Why does new patch take 7gb of my disc space, if there’s no content in 8.1.5?
I swear, I’ve checked mmochamp and utube. I know that new raid is coming (which is basically the last room of SotS dungeon) and a reskinned bg. There’s no actual content and still it’s 7gb. Actiblizzion, what are you hiding? Stop mining bitcoins with my pc!

They did this with 8.1 too and all the space was reclaimed on patch day. Can’t remember why it’s so big though. I wouldn’t worry too much.

And the reason why I worry is because my ssd has limited space, obviously.
That’s the thread about 8.1 being a huge download. There is a link in there and some info about what to do if you are struggling for space because of it. You should get some of the space back next week though.
Lol and it’s after I replaced my old 120ggb ssd. Back then wow already took 75gb. I guess I just have to re-install.
You just don’t know what content means. Everything that is delviered in the patch takes up some disk space it adds up and it is contnet.
Some of it are also changed files that will replace existing ones on a patch day so some space will get reclaimed.
I think new raid is included in this update, so high res textures are taking some space.
They’re laying the foundations for the AI takeover, that’s why every game has such big updates, bit by bit our computers are being taken over. Fight back sheeple!
