Nestled in the salt-worn docks of Rustberg Village sits a weathered warehouse. A crooked sign sways overhead, ‘Latchkey Logistics Co.’, the paint is peeling and the roof leaks when it rains, but the ledgers are neat, the parcels are stacked, and the coin flows steady.

Rustberg’s locals think we’re just another desperate outfit trying to scratch out a living in a dying town. We let them.

Concept

We’re a criminal guild with a legitimate business front. Officially, we’re a courier service transporting packages and parcels all over the Eastern Kingdoms, with a reputation for being dependable and timely.

Unofficially, we’re the ones you call when the cargo’s a little hotter, the job’s a little dirtier, and discretion is life or death. We’re thieves, smugglers, and underworld brokers.

Rules

We have a handful of IC and OOC rules to ensure players adhere to a certain standard of conduct in the guild, the most important of which are reiterated here:

• No killing – We’re thieves, not murderers.
• No overpowered characters – We’re street-level scum. Keep it gritty.

We do not have any activity requirements, and it’s all right to bring an alt into the guild. Other than that just treat everyone with basic decency, no meta- or powergaming, and remember that we’re all here to have fun!

Why choose our guild?

We’ve got a core group of players who have been regulars on Argent Dawn for years, with leaders that are experienced in storytelling and guild management! We put an emphasis on networking with other guilds and communities to create a dynamic and immersive RP environment.

The concept of a criminal courier guild is flexible for creating legitimate and criminal events all over the game world, while also giving your character a valid reason for interacting with others.

Rustberg Village

We’re partnered with The Gilded Dagger community and we’re helping to bring life to the Tol Barad neutral RP hub. The area is accessible by low level characters from either faction by the portal in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

Latchkey recently found intel about a lord that is moving back to the north. A perfect opportunity to give him a helping hand, by taking some of his stuff from his possessions.

With a handful of people, they managed to help the lord move some of his things…
… back to their own lair.

This was just one of many jobs to come.

The sailor had no idea what was awaiting her as the ship docked in the Stormwind harbor.

Heather, a master gunner of a mighty merchant ship, was not a stranger to Stormwind, she had been there many times before as the crew concluded business. She walked through the city with confident steps, head high and a good mood.

The evening would end in blood and a stolen key from her person. A key the Latchkey Couriers seems to have great interests in. A key that leads to the crew’s storage.

But thanks to the streets of Stormwind, Heather managed to get freed. In time, she will ruin their plans.
