I suspect a refund would be provided if you intend not to play SL.
You have a job but lack common sense. This was to be expected Sorry it went over your head, crying and raging on forums wonât change that.
Can we please get an approximate date so we can actually plan with our work.
Tldr is the realm 1st!-ers will have to chill
Rest of the population will be happy to play a more, prepared game
And guys stop qq-ing for your holiday and just use it in another way lol '-.- cuz you literally deserve a âget a life!ââŠ
Bro McDonaldâs works on shift rotas no? So they donât have to book AL months in advance⊠literally people with ANNUAL leave and a salary has to hahahaha
I approve, devs should always have the guts to delay a game if they feel it still needs polishing.
Not gonna play till prepatch I refuse to play more Bfa
I will leave you to your angry ramblings and presumptions.
Hi Blizz
As people are planning their vacation etc. around this, do you reckon you have been abit slow in coming out with this?
Are we talking end of year or is there a possibility of this stretching into 2021?
A functional WoW is ofcourse more important, but do we have any ETA on the new update regarding release date?
Also - delay prepatch. No one wants to sit in prepatch for 3 months, be realistic.
The devs were probably begging for delay since the release date was announced. It was a business decision to give that date, devs had no say in it 100%
Are you people seriously complaining at Blizzard for delaying an expansion that they believe is not ready for release? Seriously? Youâd rather a rushed expansion that doesnât work than one thatâs polished? What is wrong with you?
If youâre one of the people who are taking a leave of work and then found out about the delay, I understand part of your anger. However, if you clearly believed that the expansion wasnât going to be released in a good state, why did you make a holiday to play the said expansion. If you canât rebook your holiday, the good news is it may come around Christmas time which means for most people they still get the chance of playing it.
You know, itâs funny. People were constantly saying âShadowlands needs to be delayed! Itâs not ready to be released!â and no one thought Blizzard might actually listen. Then again, no one did. Blizzard surprised us on this one.
the game should have been finished before they even announced a release date to start withâŠ
We expect a level of polish no man has ever seen
âȘActually speechless. Never thought theyâd be allowed to do it. Understand the decision completely but ofc naturally a bit disappointed, though perhaps more that pre-patch isnât the 7th! Just so bored. âŹKinda depressed about it but a good indicator I need another hobby/game⊠a me problem.
A tad unfair - clearly youâve never worked in IT!
good joke, to bad its not weekend yet.
itâs good that it gets delayed because it obvious needs polish.
but can we stop praising the heck out of them until they actually fixes the game? because as it is right now, we are just getting BFA extended.
best of luck to the dev team though. do you best
yes, letâs all just get a non-complete experience so we can all hold then to account for how mediocre it was at launch. Blizzard making this decision shows there is still hope for gaming. Blizzard making this decision is the most 2005 Blizzard thing they have done in a long, long time.
This is good news. Game is far from as ready as it should be 3 weeks before release, just from my simple running around doing random stuff in beta. And with the amount of work boss decided to give me the rest of the year I wouldnât have had time to get my hunter ready for Nathria anyway.
