If you don’t there is literally not enough time to getboth leveling and gear up enough to get the first clear of mythic dungeons done. Pretty much your entire first tier you’re behind until you catch up when downtime begins. Being behind also means no raiderio score or cheevos, so good luck if you pug.

A few years back I booked time off to go to Glastonbury to see The Who live and my holidays got cancelled and I missed it. Was I angry about it? Yes of course. Did I act like it was the end of the world? No because life’s a b!ich. You don’t always get what you want. Delays and cancellations happens. It’s life. With Covid work at home situation the delay was expected. People need to stop with this emotional blackmail. Don’t you think the devs understand that y’all booked time off? Don’t you think this hurts them too?

Well, lets hope the new release date gets announced ahead of time. Around like a week or 4 or so.
Giving people some chances to plan accordingly.
I do feel the delay is good and ultimately necessary.

Were it so simple. No game is truly ever finished, yet a date has to be given. I’m sure most would want to go with the route “it’s out when it’s done” but they can’t.
That’s it, I’m ending it all, goodbye world.
I have a job, I didn’t book any days off for shadowlands.
It’s your own risk that you book days off for a game.
Of course it’s people without jobs that don’t care though XD.
Games can get delayed.
Cyberpunk 2077 has had several release dates and has been delayed 2-3 times already.

The content is time gated on release anyways. You will ding in 5 hours and then what? Complain about lack of content??
Also how is your leave wasted?? Don’t you all have a life outside of this game? Visit a big city, go out with friends/family, do something

Lots of things have been delayed or cancelled this year due to the pandemic. It’s unfortunate but these things can’t be helped.

Okay, how do I get my days off back that I’ve taken? Why didn’t you just announce a later date to begin with? No one would have said anything had you gone for mid-November in the first place.
Or if that Beta Feedback was so sudden and surprising maybe let more testers in earlier?

Thank god. I’m sure a lot of us are bored right now with nothing much to do in game but I’m happy with the decision to delay. The beta in it’s current state is still a hot-mess while being a month out. Solid decision whether it was influenced by the community or not.
