And so it begins... Multiboxing bans

i prefer this one

but then, im biased lol

on topic, i guess i can understand them not beliving that the bans will happen. after all, they have had a decade or so, maybe more in some cases, where they have been able to do as they please.
you kinda get set in your ways after so long (i should know, being an old fart)

It isn’t “multiboxing ban” but ban of people using third party software TO multibox.

Can we stop with the shortcut titles, people who have no clue saying they are reporting when I open 2 or 3 accounts are annoying, as well as people who report people in my guild because we all have the same name and race. 400 accounts multibox seems legit to them, I guess.

Good riddance to all who were banned and all who will be banned.

The real scourge are multiboxers.

This should have been done long ago.

Good, now IP ban the boosters advertising with their spammy WTS in the Trade chat with their throw away accounts!

And ban whoever is responcible behind!

And what will they ban me for?
(I don’t have any software to play so please developp)

Edit: and sooo… ? I guess blizzard “go ban me” because you said so. Alight mate, keep the hate and jealousy going

I think you need to learn what DHCP is. An IP ban would not only be unfair on the next person to be allocated that IP, it would also be totally ineffective owing to how trivial it is to get a new IP.

They should have done this long ago, not now that the expansion is over after they let multiboxer druids dominate nazjatar and making impossible to farm zin’anthid

This true, the whole boosting thing is getting out of the hand since mid Legion and became quite insuferable during BfA to the point that the boosters just make new accounts and spam that stuff, get banned, then make new accounts again.

The poor newbs that share the novice chat with them + all these boosters also have the novice icon, cant tell them apart!

I hope Blizzard sees that its slowly becoming a problem now that multiboxers are going under. Its like they are changing strategies to get their greed sated!

Good news, keep it up.

I think the problem is players tend to accuse blizzard of never banning anyone for it if they don’t upfront tell them when they do :rofl:

Good! Now lets hope they keep banning / warning them the next years.

And dont let this be a pr stunt like: look we are banning multiboxers.

And then next year nobody gets banned anymore

For spamming trade chat 0-24 with other spammers with an autoadvertise addon on your xyz account?

Yeah, surely good reason to be jealous.

Huuh, I am not advertising anything nor do I have any addon to do that. I am in BGs most of the day. Can you show any evidence that I am spamming, with my name or one of my alts on the screenshot please?

I can still play, can you tell me when I am getting banned? You seem to know me better than myself and know 100% what I am doing, so I guess I can ask about the future

Ahhh jeally people; I love them :relaxed:

How could blizzard do this when they need those subs to keep the lights on? I don’t understand.

Everyone told me that because subs were so low they would never ban multiboxers.

Are these forums wrong? How is this possible?

I don’t think the sub are as low as people pretend. Shadowlands seem to have brought a lot of new players + returning players. And I think multiboxers aren’t above 1% of the game community, so banning those who don’t respect the new law isn’t gonna change much.
