Can we talk about what a big missed opportunity it is to not have this two interact with eachother ?
Anduin was always afraid of becoming Arthas and maybe even saw that fulfilled with what the jailer did to him.
However he was always on the same track as Darion, not Arthas.
2 young blond boys who grew up in the shadow of their father, living a life of altruism with little care for themself and always for others.
Both believing in the light and creating miracles with it until the point of their corruption. With the difference that Darion choose to die.
However Anduin now is at the point where Darion was after lightshope, he has been used against his will, but he doesn’t has a Tirion to pull him out of it.
Darion could be Anduins Tirion and teach him how to move forward, heck they are probably around the same age anyway.
The only difference we could argue in their situation is how Darion was always the do guy , who has less doubt than Anduin. But still he found a way to Serve Azeroth after all the blood he shed.
Anduin should see himself becoming a second Darion and not Arthas.
